I doubt sincerely that you or I can do anything about this....
We can report & discuss what we see.
...so let's just see what happens.
Of course we'll see.
That's always the case.
Meanwhile, the tariffs will only take place if illegal immigration or drug trafficking isn't significantly impacted by Mexico's government.
What happened to....
...so let's just see what happens.

Are you not aware that in the free world, borders don't work that way. The US border is for keeping undesirables out, which is the responsibility of the US, not for keeping Americans in. The Canadian and Mexican borders are the same, because we are both democracies and relatively free. We don't monitor our borders to make sure Canadians aren't trying to get out of the country for a few days.

And America's drug problem is not a supply problem, it's a demand problem. No country has EVER managed to shut down black markets for what people want. Just look at prohibition -- a complete and total failure -- and in fact in many places increased the amount of alcohol people consumed, only made it more dangerous because it was uncontrolled.

It's time Trump -- and America -- grew up and started to understand how the real world works.

It was on fire when I laid down on it.

So are you saying that the Mexican government cannot control who enters the US?

Though almost half knew better, collectively, the American electorate is a morally bankrupt idiot. They just showed us that. So did I with the response above this one.
So much for all the talk before the election about defending democracy. Some people only pay lip service to democracy when what they really mean is that it is fine so long as it agrees with them.

Excuse us, but which member suggested overturning the election? Why, my goodness, none of them!! Accepting the will of the electorate -- even when disagreeing strongly with the direction it has now taken them -- is the very heart and soul of defending democracy.

The only Americans who tried to overturn an election were Republicans -- and the only one's still rabbitting on and on about it are Republicans.

Excuse me, but I didn't say anything about anyone attempting to overturn any elections. But some here are writing things such as "collectively, the American electorate is a morally bankrupt idiot". And that is NOT supporting democracy.

It is not supposed to.
Mexico should cooperate, but it is the USA that must take charge, since it is the USA that wants to keep the illegal immigrants out.

It seems that facts don't matter since Mexico IS cooperating already and doing a very good job as the statistics shows.

I wouldn't consider it an attack on democracy to have an opinion about quality of the electorate. I don't see the evidence for making sense of such a claim.
