Trump to Purge Generals

Why should it be the same navy as it was in 1961? Or 1981? Why is our past bigotry superior to our present attempts at lessening it? (I assume your complaint is about blacks, gays, and women being treated as equals in the modern military.)
Nope

Let me put it this way and I can only speak about the Navy. It isn't the same same Navy I served in from 1961 to 1981 and it started changing only a couple of years after 1981 and it wasn't for the best IMO.
I would say that's true for all branches of the military, although I do give some exception to the Marines and Special Operations who have been able to stay above the water line in combat readiness.

More anti-Trumpers that couldn't understand how he won yet think they know what he will do. They don't.
We know how he won.
He tricked people into thinking he would be able to wave a wand and drop prices by 30%.
People similar to you believed him.
Trump is a known scammer and fraudster. Court cases prove this.
Don't be a mark, don't allow someone to use you like that. You're more than happy to allow someone to abuse you. smh

Very strange that anti-woke feelings appear to
drive the votes for Trump more than any other
factor. They can't even define woke.
Oh but they can although I don't think they should , but I do know one thing. Such issues shouldn't be the top priority of the military by any stretch of means. I personally would just go for the reinstatement of don't ask don't tell and have people concentrate on their MOS and do their jobs well.

Isn't 1981 when Reagan starting forcing the military to improve combat readiness? Not as an insult, but I grew up during that time, and I remember him pouring a quart of guts into the US forces. US combat readiness improved by leaps and bounds starting in 1981.

Not as much as you like. I was in an infantry unit in the mid 1980s and the only good thing was my command didn't have us running around in t-shirts and sneakers. We ran full BDU and combat boots in all PT activities after morning formation.

What are the "woke" policies you object to?

Woke makes no sense in the Military. The job of the military is to train and prepare for war, with war hell. War training requires one become tough and hardened to hardships and stress. This is the nature of war and the basic needs of all soldiers.

Diversity makes complete sense in the military. A bunch of people working together for a common cause, using teamwork and respect for one another and understanding the cultures of different people they may encounter overseas...
