Trump wants to pardon himself?

Doesn't make a difference as Trump & Co were "judge and jury" and yet I don't recall you ever complaining about that.
The only judge I see at the moment is the IG report in Rosenstein's hands for possible redactions.

Rosenstein is in control of everything at the moment, as we have no AG. We only see what he allows us to see.........at the moment. Which isn't much.

Only if you trust the media, which 58% of the newest poll says we do not.

It will be what it will be when the time comes. Not a day sooner.
What? I am not talking about the media... at all.

How are you getting the information you are speaking of then?
The importance of a president being able to pardon himself? I mean, it doesn't take a primary source to understand why that might be important.

Hypothetically, if Clinton had won the election, do you think she could have just pardoned herself of all these crimes you think she committed?

I don't know if any president can save their hide from proven crimes. I'd like to think: I doubt it. But what crimes have been proven committed at this point in time by either Hillary OR Trump?

"At this point in time" is key here. Hypotheticals and speculations are all we are dealing with "at this time".

It's just a political soap opera to me.

But at this point in time, right now, when the President and his lawyers are talking about the President pardoning himself it is appropriate to talk about whether or not this can be done.

Pardon himself? From what?
It's looking like it might be over a stupid lie, like Nixon and Clinton, who got into trouble more because they did lie. Honesty may not matter to Trump, but it tends to matter when it comes to federal investigations.

Talk about it all you want. Or argue about it all you want. Gulianni is an idiot, especially after saying Kim came begging on his knee's to keep the summit. Diplomacy is not one of his fine points. He's just another loud mouth attorney, like Schiff.

I think half the time Trump gives the media stuff to keep them busy while he attends to bigger and better things.

But that's just me. I see a difference when he's talking to his base voters and blasting media stories.

I see him exaggerate some, but not that much dishonest. What dishonest things stand out? Maybe I'm missing something.

We'll have to wait and see, but definitely at least some people did lie about the whole Russian thing.
That's how I see it as well. Neither side has truth in their favor. But denying where the truth exists (FBI) to the people doesn't help find the truth at all. So "wait and see" as you say, is the best approach.
