Trump

What? Me worry?
again not the point,

when someone is sick we don't interfere with the doctor's diagnosis; unless we get a second opinion. we've got a second doctor, and still there is a person interfering in the process of a professional vs a person wanting yet another opinion.

allow the professionals to discover the minor/major problem, and provide a prescription; if there is one. don't keep claiming the doctor is ill.

we know russia interfered. that isn't debatable.

what isn't known for sure is if americans were complicit in helping and/or benefiting from such an act of espionage.

attention needs to be focused there, not on hillary clinton, not on trump interfering in the process. this isn't about a person, its about an action that isn't acceptable no matter who you are. the people have been put at risk and are more important than a single individual's image.

If this is not the point then what are we actually discussing here? And contrary to the Left's fantasizing, we do not know that the Russians had anything to do with the election.

They wouldn't be investigating him for something
if he weren't guilty of that something.

It reminds me of something starting at 1:25.....

mitch mcconnell doesn't ascribe to the left, he's a con. in the video from KET he states its known. you can skip to 0:34 to hear it from his lips to both the left and right ears.

FACT CHECK: Mitch McConnell Blocked Bipartisan Panel from Investigating Russian Hacks

so there may be those who were unwittingly complicit with the russians to perfom an act that was ultimately not in the interest of the people of these united states.

ignorance of the law is not an excuse for the law

investigation only requires a suspicion of guilt.

being guilty requires proof

investigating <> proof

or

investigating < not equal to> proof

Yes, we need more clarity.

It is a fact that Russians attempted to interfere in the election on several fronts. This investigation is not about that at all.

The investigation is whether the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians in those efforts. . . That's what's being investigated as well as any obstruction in that matter. The potential for compromise through money laundering operations by many within his campaign, and potentially himself, is also being investigated.

Remember, there was formal sanctions taken in a sweeping bipartisan measure back in August in condemnation of Russian actions. . . It actually curbed executive powers on Russia because he wasn't trusted to maintain sanctions over the interference. Trump was forced to sign it, and of course, the admin has been stalling whenever it could, ever since.

You cannot claim that Russian interference is a liberal fantasy, because it is a fact, and most republicans accept it. Ft my party, I cannot claim that Trump colluded with Russia to interfere yet, because the investigation is ongoing. Any dirty liberal claiming that part as a fact at present is full of it.

Your perspective on Muller is parroting the exact talking points we've seen in unprecedented campaign-style attack ads for awhile, so I don 't blame you for being taken in by it.

I also prefer truth, but just like the claims that "millions voted illegally" or "global warming is a hoax by the Chinese to destroy American Jobs," and "Obama illegally wire-tapped me," it's a politically motivated stunt that will convince only those you'd expect to convince. . . You claims have no evidence to support them, and neither do his.

Some people are okay with bald-faced unsubstantiated lies like these from the president of the United States, but I still think our check and balances will win out here.

Enjoy President Troll while you can. The votes are coming.

First point isn't a point, the joke is that you probably think Clinton, Bush X2, and Obama are in different political parties. They're not, they're in the deep state shill party, lol. Regardless, you're just straw manning my opinion of the situation instead of responding in an amiable manner. Weak ad hominems say a lot about your character, so I'll leave it there. My calculations say your brain is turned off so I mourn your misfortune. It's obvious that I'm speaking of my opinion and not doing a journalistic piece. If you're too dumb to figure that out I just can't help you.

Obama wiretapping Trump isn't speculation at all... There is only one reason FISA court even has a proceeding, so that fact is indisputable. That action could have never occurred without Obama's rubber stamp, so that's about it. The rest of your rant has nothing to do with the discussion, so I'll politely ignore it.

As far as the next elections, please indicate even one legislative victory for the Democrats since the last election cycle. Yeah, you can't. Voters aren't that stupid, if it looks like one party is just a bunch of foul mouthed losers who don't do any work or just make excuses you can just expect more Republican candidates taking seats in the next run up. I don't know about you, but I vote for people who work not people who grandstand, cause trouble, and otherwise obstruct. The tactic isn't going to pan out for them, not at all. In fact, I still think the best thing Trump can do is refuse DACA because it just helps the dems too much...

Wha?

Oh, that's what they look like. Thanks for the example. You're so funny @Mindmaster.

As for Dems winning elections:

Redirect Notice

Or is that all fake news? GOP controlled houses in Alabama and Wisconsin have decided to end special elections in those states because of their fear of voter wrath.

As for winning legislative victories. . . No, the minority party in Congress probably doesn't get a lot legislative "wins," but how are you defining a win and a loss here? When the Dems are a majority party in 2018, I suppose they're try to win by helping people . . . Like DACA recipients who have lived in the US all their lives.

Saying "no" just to "hurt the Dems" is the worst reason ever. . .

As for the Deep State Shill Party, which includes apparently everybody . . . I just don't know what to say. This is some serious conspiracy theory level of paranoia on your part. . . I would like civil conversation, but you are saying Alex Jones-level unsubstantiated, outlandish things.

that isn't going to happen if individuals keep meddling in the investigation.

With corrupt investigators, the lie will be perpetuated.

this isn't a belief. russian meddling is known.

Based on what? You have no evidence at all. Wiki-leaks indicated there was no Russian collusion, and even Obama said the elections weren't hacked. But there's no reasoning with blind faith.

It has been confirmed over and over again that the Russians indeed were trying their best to influence the election, and even many Congressional Republicans admit that.

Wikileaks was a recipient of the Russian hacking, and it is known even where the hacks came from in Russia (a former warehouse in St. Petersburg, Russia). This was also a source of many bots that were disseminated to the social media.

We also know that six members of the Trump team lied when they said they had no meetings with any Russians both prior to the election or during the transition. We also know that the Trump team has been trying as hard as they can, including Trump himself, to try and stop the investigation. We know that at least two of the Trump team have already testified that they are guilty of trying to cover up what was happening and their involvement (Flynn & Papadopoulos).

So, if Trump and the Trump team are so innocent, then why all these actions, including his admitting to Lester Holtz in the Today show that he fired Comey in order to stop the investigation?

They weren't guilty of coverups, only process crimes. And you still don't have any evidence of Russian collusion. Take it up with Obama. If there was, then he was complicit prior to the election.

Maybe read this from a non-partisan source that also includes links: Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections - Wikipedia
That document is written by the people/agencies involved in trying to disgrace Trump, and was written while Obama was still President.

The only election tampering that there's any evidence for was the Democrat primaries, which was even admitted to by the DNC chair, Schultz. Is the Left EVER shamed by its hypocritical double-standards? Why should it when the media's got their back, and a government "educated" electorate, just as Marx said to do.

Well, since some of the stuff was covered in 2017, the above tells me that you didn't even read it.

So, you can go ahead and believe all your right-wing politicians, but as for myself I much prefer to actually get the news from multiple sources, including even some on the right, such as the WSJ.

After the mainstream Republicans finally figured out that there was nothing to the Trump collusion investigation, they finally warmed up to him and passed the Tax bill in December with wholehearted, even say gushing, support. The tax bill is a big part of the swing to general support of Trump, his rock-star reception in Switzerland, the uptick in consumer confidence, employment and economy in general--even black employment. But if you get your news from the Grammys, the Tonight Show and Twitter feeds, all of that would be news to you I'm sure.

Overall, I'd bide my time until they release the memo.

BTW, there are three political camps, liberals, conservatives and the Establishment, and they overlap. The WSJ's allegiance is to the latter, though it may be shifting recently with the tax bill as well. The most unbiased news feed, where they don't hide crap and overemphasize others, is the Drudge Report. Believe it or not, 25 years ago, I used to think PBS hung the Moon, almost exclusively because it didn't cater to religions. I still don't like religion, but they're much less a threat that unbridled government.

Oh really, then how do you explain this from the same article:

On May 9, 2017, Trump dismissed FBI Director James Comey, citing in part dissatisfaction with the ongoing suspicions of his presidency because of "this Russia thing". On May 17, Deputy Attorney General, and Acting Attorney General for this investigation, Rod Rosenstein appointed former FBI Director Robert Mueller as Special Counsel to oversee the investigation.

It's no wonder you haven't any idea what's really going on.

I'm referring to the January 6 2017 assessment report by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence that was attached in the margin to the Wiki article you linked to. That was written while Obama was still President.

Oh, forgot to thank you for the shortcut. :) I'm welcome, I'm sure.

WWMRD?
Does the president spend an inordinate amount of time embroiled in an investigation that he should step back from and allow to run it's course?
Isn't the greater good for everyone in finding the cause of russian meddling and correcting it? or determining there is nothing to be concerned about?

They haven't been able to prove any Russian meddling occurred much less give any believable evidence that it might have occurred nor is there any evidence that if it did happen that it had any effect on the 2016 election, that seems to be the rotten truth of it all. The best shot they had at providing evidence seems to have been the much lauded facebook ads, twitter, and supposed comments on youtube which was a complete joke. After the evidence was released the medias that were pushing the "Russian trolls undermining democracy" narrative for months had to backtrack and then proceeded to mock Russia's propaganda ability after the much lauded and feared "proof" showed itself for what it was, I bet they were grateful that North Korea stirred up trouble because then we could all forget about it.

Evidence of Russian Meddling in Election 'Overwhelming,' Clapper Says at IOP | News | The Harvard Crimson

Yet still no concrete proof has been shown
One good thing from the article is this:
"Rogers warned audience members to be aware of the unconscious influence media can have on opinions and voting patterns."

Considering what the general media spewed for months before, during, and after the election, who was really behind attempting to affect/effect opinions and voting patterns? Do we need to worry more about foreign or domestic attempts? Does it bother you that the Russia ruse has been used in Germany, France, and the U.K. and what it seems to be a precursor for? Why are politicians in the U.K. fear mongering about Russia?

Let Trump be Trump and let the Democrats wallow in their filth. Democrats are still hurt about their little criminal Hillary losing the same way Obama was a complete idiot for insulting McCain after his election and acting like an imbecile his entire administration.

Google and Facebook both had issues reporting Russian involvement the first time they were asked and now all the sudden have proof when pressured. To this very day the news nor anybody else has proof of this "fake news," that altered people's minds and it is baffling to think how moronic 50% of Americans are at times.

Under the "rule of law" here in the States, one is not a "criminal" unless they are indicted and convinced, neither of which happened with Hilary. Therefore, it appears that you also are of the "Lock her up!" mindset that is basically a "lynch-mob mentality", which if implemented would violate what's found in the Constitution of the United States of America.

The rest of your post ain't any better, btw, but you have made it abundantly clear why you support the utter depravity of the Groper-In-Chief, so thanks for clarifying that for us "morons".
