This is a new development in Manaforts court case I believe YIKES! It means they're giving up their priviledge to keep their conversation private and this means Trump expects to go to court and testify hey!

This is the first time int his investigation we are actually talking about Trump having to go to court and testify!Trump supporters keep saying it would not get this far and did! I did not expect him to even have to go to court so maybe I'm wrong we maybe wrong about Mueller not getting anywhere with the investigation, !

YAY I am excited maybe we can get somewhere with this!

Haven't seen anything about it in the headlines. At least not yet. Aside from the judge granting immunity.

Me either. I thought Trump wasn't under investigation according to Rosenstein a month ago.

Wishful thinking?
Still looks like a lot of posturing and positioning. There will probably be a hearing but I doubt Trump will be there.

Trump is legally classified as a "subject" in the investigation, so one cannot legally conclude anything beyond that at this point. IOW, we have to wait.

Hopefully the "investigation" is almost over. So far, not much more than any other election. Even the Acorn dead people voting didn't take as long and just fizzled away. This looks to be the same.

I hope Trump declassifies all the redacted crap that started this mess, and reveals the whole mess Rosenstein is holding hostage over Congress. Let the cards fall where they may. He probably will after the mid terms, and should.

Many of the legal experts are saying that it appears to be winding down to the top enchiladas and that we'll likely get Mueller's analysis around the end of summer/early fall.

No, Rosenstein wants to keep Nunes' and his supporters away from the highly classified data because they will defend Trump at any cost. Unlike Nunes, Rosenstein has a stellar reputation and is acting like it. The House Intelligence Committee has proven to be a complete sham and has been trying to kill the investigation, unlike even the Senate's approach.

And the utter dishonesty coming from Nunes & Co is appalling even if not any longer surprising. They've claimed over and over again that the FISA warrants were entirely or largely based on the Steele Dossier, which we know with certainty is simply a bold-faced lie.

Prior to the Steele Dossier, other British sources as well as Dutch sources found DMC e-mails in Russian e-mails, plus they knew that Page had been having secret meetings with Russians, which he first denied, including some in what used to be called the KGB.

Contrary to the dishonest talking heads at Fox, there simply is no way that a FISA court would rely just on a dossier whereas there was no way of telling how accurate it might or might not be. This is why it is so important for people to get news from multiple sources and why Fox is such a terrible source for news.

It's nothing, they know it, Trump knows it, and because of that he's not impeached or otherwise penalized already. If they had something that involved corruption the VP would already have been forced to take over by the other powers that be.

The whole situation is just a media circus of useless action and propaganda. I can't wait to stop hearing about it personally, lol.

I resonate with that. It's pretty much a tit-for-tat kind of a society were living in at present.

I figure half the politicians aren't even doing their job they were initially elected for and wasting taxpayers money for doing stuff like this.

I don't blame Trump for firing people. There's simply not doing their jobs anymore. A bunch of misguided and addle-minded stalwarts if you ask me. Too bad their devotion and dedication isn't their job description.

If this does turn out to be true, the only reason his legal council and himself would go along with this is if they knew that Trump had nothing to hide.

This is the source . If CNN is right its a sign that hes planning to go to court to testify. Why would they wave their rights if they are not planning on going to court.

Again I say everyone has been saying he wont even make it to court, if he does go to court its a new development, and something I expected not to happen according to all you trump supporters.

So if its nothing why has everybody been saying he wont even make it to court? But maybe I am wrong, I guess we will find out.Going to court is a new development.

No CNN says if they know the court and judge has already decided that they don't have the right to use the Lawyer client relationship to skip testifying they may do it in order to avoid problems from the judge and court.

That is the idea as per Giuliani's press releases.

Legal experts? You mean attorneys. They are the problem with this country.

Fox has their liberal Democrat group explaining what you said as well. So their sources are balanced.

I see both sides. I also see an investigation that has no definition. Except when Rosenstein redefines it from time to time. When did Manaforts 2006 antics effect the 2016 election? When did Stormy Daniels sexual stint 10 years ago interfer with the 2016 elections?

Even the 12 Russians indicted by the FBI are presumed innocent until their day in court. Which, so far, has held very little, if nothing after 18 months.

Like the 30,000 deleted emails, we will probably never know so we can judge for ourselves. The American jury has been pushed aside. In favor of those in power. Shame.

Ya, and pigs fly.

I watch Fox on occasions, and "fair & balanced" is not the words I'd use for them, but then neither is MSNBC nor CNN, although the latter two are still miles ahead of Fox when it comes to reporting the actual news. News commentary is news commentary, and that's fair game imo, but that should not be mixed in with the general reporting of news as Fox constantly does.

People who watch Fox and who "think" they're getting straight news need to do some serious thinking about why they are doing that to themselves. Even some Pubs have badmouthed that propaganda channel.

The Manafort investigation is about his connections to Russia mostly dealing with his business ties and his support of the Russians in the eastern Ukraine, which is separate from the Russian hacking issue.

When did Stormy Daniels sexual stint 10 years ago interfer with the 2016 elections?
It's the payoff to her in 2016 that's the "question" that no longer actually is a question.

BTW, do you think adultery is morally acceptable? And don't come back with "others do it" as two (or more) wrongs don't make a right. I felt Clinton should have resigned, so I'm not playing the partisan card here.

Even the 12 Russians indicted by the FBI are presumed innocent until their day in court.
Of course, except they'll never show up. Plus Mueller does not have the reputation of being careless, so his conclusion must have been based on something even if it didn't amount to any collusion with the Trump camp.

The American jury has been pushed aside. In favor of those in power. Shame.
And Trump & Co are in power-- so we agree.

Anyhow, time will tell.
