Trump's moment of radical honesty

Trump is merely taking credit for an unemployment trend that has been in progress since long before his administration...many presidents do this. Trumps admission that he would lie may come from a deep hope that if he could earn the Nobel peace prize he would achieve a level of acknowledgment and appre citation that he never dreamed of. For a moment his guard fell....
Trump said he doesn't care about the Nobel prize. Like the Oscar, they are for the elitists, out of touch with common people.

If you honestly believe that Jesus would support a man like Trump then you don't know Jesus at all.
Jesus wouldn't support any government of people. Governments are for the flesh, not the spirit. But he did advocate to love our neighbors and forgive them even if they sin against us. Clearly, the Trump haters have shown an ignorance of the fact that God is in charge.

Again, you're just being dishonest, plus you resorted with another one of your stereotypes when you wrote "Typical". No wonder you support Trump.
I support the country first because it's where I live. And it appears to be getting healthier, at least in my area. Why would I hate such an action? While Trump has been in office, my 401k and money market funds have improved immensely. Actions talk. But you can continue to try to make me see differently, if you want. But for the moment, I'll enjoy new successes. And the decision maker(s) making it possible.

Trump is like that...he says not what he thinks but what causes the response he wants/desperately needs to have from others...which is invariably some form of approval...wild, enthusiastic approval from someone. His followers ADORE him, but the rest of us...not so much. This is his strength and his weakness. He so desperately wants the world to love him that he does everything in the macho playbook to make it seem like he doesn't care. Trump is so media fixated that when he looks in the mirror he is reading a news feed.

He says he is about America First but he is having way too much fun palling around with the world's dictators. I suspect that in them he sees himself...narcissism incarnate. This narcissist is "like no other" as he has all the money and political power one could ever want.

The Nobel prize? Yes he wants it. Would it be in character to show how deeply he wants it intentionally...heck no.

lol.........OK.

Today I am watching the media waiting for the IG report on the Clinton investigation, Comey, Lynch and McCabe and maybe more. Seems funny that Comey is MIA out of the country, Lynch refused a Congressional meeting request, and McCabe is asking for immunity for testimony. Talk about "radical honesty".

People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

And can't help to notice that it's all about YOU.

What about the millions of others that even conservative economists note will be hurt by the massive cuts to Medicaid, including many of the elderly in nursing homes? What about the millions negatively affected by the cuts to the ACA? What about the children affected by the elimination of the CHIP program? Etc.?

And perhaps the common people don't understand how things work at the level the so-called "elitists" (a euphemism for educated past high school?) understand it. Ignorance isn't an argument for anything. It works both ways of course...arrogance isn't an effective tool of education or inspiration either.

Wow. You're not only pessimistic, but depressing. I give my fair share of help in my community, labor and investments. Maybe if you and others did the the same, you wouldn't have to rely on the governments teat.

You might want to explain that to the lefties like Antifa. University Educated? lol.....

Right so you can't be a christian and be in favor of Trump.

Correct so you can't claim to be a Christian and approve of Trump. Your being a hypocrite to your own faith.
You don't even understand my faith. Comparing politics with Christ is for the inept and those without knowledge. Using Christ for political gain blasphemy. Christs kingdom is not of this world, but maybe it is to you. I merely pointed out hating Trump was not a Christian ideology.

John:
If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

Maybe you need to review your own faith.

Get behind me. Post #42 by me is correct, in my faith, maybe not yours.

So your faith supports a lying conman full of racist beliefs. Alright that makes me understand the reason why you post the way you do.

Again, I have to note that it's all about YOU with the above. I'm not going to get into what I may give because that would not only be self-serving but also not the point I was making.

In history, it has been made painfully clear that charity alone cannot deal with all the ills that people suffer from, especially since donations tend to dry up during recessions and depressions. Charity definitely has a role to play but it's far from being a cure-all.
