I found Will.I.Am's comment on the *-countries very good. He ignored the negativity, played the game on a higher level than politicians. Knowing some place is doing badly, shouldn't it get charitable folks up and helping them?

You are right. Few want to come here from advanced countries. They surely do not want to come here for the health benefits ... they would have almost none compared to where they live. Also, when visiting other EU countries their health care covers them. Medicare here in the States covers nothing if a person needs health care in another country. They do not want to come here because of our gun violence, etc., etc.
