How can one improve thier trust in god

What do you mean? And which god?

I guess I find this to be an odd question. I trust my gods to do that which they must because it is essential to their nature and they cannot do anything else. Sun Spirit must rise and set every day, because it is the essential nature of Gaea, our planet, to rotate on its axis and cause this day-night relationship with Sun Spirit. I trust that this will happen. I do not sit and ask myself "is Sun going to rise tomorrow?" That's silly. We know it will. It can't help but to do so. I
n terms of knowing what is essential to the nature of the gods, determining that depends somewhat on the god in question, but often, the sciences are an excellent (albeit limited) tool for that. The arts are, as well, particularly when dealing with the otherworldly for which sciences are rubbish at addressing. I guess since you are probably most interested in the otherworldly one-god, I would look to the arts. Use them to explore your god, and get to know it. Through knowing it, you learn to know its nature, and can then trust it to do what is within its nature, as it must do so.

Well, this might not answer your question but I would say focus on trusting yourself. Take a state of peace, brotherly love and contentment as your default state and analyze what disturbs that state and work on correcting the thinking that caused your disturbance. Don't worry about things beyond your control but do be concerned about how you respond internally to them. Peace and happiness is then within your control, not an external agent like god.

Believe and know everything that happens, even the bad thingsnare for your benefit. Know He is All Knowing and He has had a plan since the beginning of time. He is All powerful and able to do His will, which is all good, for you.

Unless you believe in free will, at which point God is "hands off," otherwise it is not free will if He is controlling things.

Here is what I believe.
First. Be sure you are worshiping the one true God. (John 17:3) Come to know him by study of his word, the Bible. (John 17:17) Prove to yourself that Jehovah is the only true God and always keeps his promises. (1 Thessalonians 5:21) Then, "draw close to God, and he will draw close to you." (James 4:8)

I believe we have an illusion of free will and that everything has been decided from the beginning, called fate.

Ok, then why is there a judgment if God controls everything? Why is there a place of eternal torment for those that don't pass judgment, if God controls everything? That is essentially saying that God is going to condemn people to hell for choices He made and set in motion. Not exactly the definition of a loving God, if you ask me.

Does that plan include children with bone cancer?
