Try To Prove To Me Anything

RationalSkeptic

This is a thread where you can try to prove to me anything.

However there are a couple of things I would like to politely ask of you.

1) I want this to be me debating people without outside interference. So please do not gang up on users who ask questions you do not agree with.

2) If you continue to make similar points while ignoring rebuttals I will ask you to politely leave. If you choose not to you will be ignored.

3) If you continuously use similar logical fallacies I will politely ask you to leave. If you choose not too, you will be ignored.

4) Any form of trolling will be ignored.

5) Please follow all forum rules.

Thank you for reading and lets please have a some good civil debates,

I think it would be a good idea of listing like 10 debatable things you believe in so that members can know what are the topics they can debate you in.

That would not be helpful as this is a place to try to prove to me something.

Also I do not hold any firmly held beliefs to list.

#1/ I cogitate somewhat by responding to your request in a manner that I hope fulfils the requirement, then subsequently edit the response after further cogitation.

I maintain that the square of the hypotenuse of a right triangle equals the combined squares of the other two legs.

Of course not. Proof, by definition, only applies to mathematics and distilling.
General knowledge or scientific facts are just conclusions based on enough evidence to make it absurd to deny them.

Im sorry but this isn't a question thread.
Excuse me, but this is in the interview forum, ("The Interview Place: Where interviews are conducted and discussed.") which implies that questions are expected. If you prefer not to comply perhaps you should ask to have your thread moved to a more appropriate forum.

Excelllent. I would also have added that this is not a comedy forum and those who (for the the strangest reasons) imagine themselves to be funny, should post else where.
