Despite everything, I don't want to see Mubarak on trial or humiliated. He has only a few days to live, he is already sick and surely ruined. God will judge him.

Have mercy on those who used to be in power, and all of a sudden they lost everything. I don't like him, however, I don't know why but I really feel very sorry for him.

I have to admit that i feel kind of sorry for him too, but i also agree with maro that we should get our money back from him and others like him. Especially when there are poor people who can't provide basic needs for their families.

Yes, he could stay in authority for 12 years or even 18 years and leave after this, if he did this, he would leave with dignity and people would remember him in a good way but he did this to himself and he deserve it. What he should worry about is the day of judgment...poor one.

I do like what the Army does so far. They seem committed to satisfy the requirements of the revolution.

The authority is within the people, and they seem to understand this, surprisingely, the police as well!

I have a question, do you guys know how big of a role Omar Suleiman has in the military council? I have read some places that he has been stripped of power along with Mubarak and others where he is a purported member of the security council.

Also is there a particular reason why the emergency laws haven't been repealed? I can understand the need to ensure stability, but would have assumed that these were one of the first things to go when Mubarak flew out.

He has no role in the military council...but i read that he is still in the presedential palace , and i don't know why the hell is this ?!

repealing the emergency law and releasing the political prisoners are two things we are still waiting for .

One of the best things that the supreme council of the armed forces has done is appointing Tariq Al-Bishri to head the committee that aim to reform some articles of the constitution. Although, I wished to see a formation of a wholly new constitution, not fixing the old one.

Why do you favor entirely rejecting the current constitution Sahar? I would think it would be easier to revise than to recreate, unless there is some fundamental flaw?
