Computers do more and include tv now. We have a tv but it's not hooked up to any cable so it's only used occasionally. It's only good for my bf to play video games on or to watch a movie together.

I derive some income from using the computer as well.

I watch TV on my computer. Who is going to buy a television, subscribe to cable and pay for the HBO package just to watch Game of Thrones?

Strange, I watch computer on my TV! :D Our TV is effectively just a wireless monitor in which any... erhm.. liberated materials, can be viewed in the living room.

Computer, totally. I watch most of the TV I watch (not much) on the computer, and even when I'm watching TV or a movie on a TV, it's streamed from the internet, not off a broadcast or cable signal. I can't remember the last time I actually watched TV from a broadcast signal, on a TV. Probably I was travelling, or at someone else's house or something.

If I had to give up TV,
I'd do it, & all would see me
still posting away
& shopping ebay,
but watching Treme on PC.

TV's are currently a waste of space if they aren't internet enabled. Anything entertaining is so full of commercial breaks, and there is so little variety on TV. Hulu is better than TV and has a limited number of commercial breaks; plus you know when a commercial will come on.

TV Network web sites are difficult to navigate, frustrating. Playback varies from network to network, besides they often kill off good series without finishing them. (Heroes for example). Where is the loyalty to viewers?

Youtube has too many commercials now for its 10 minute shows. I don't use it except for educational videos.

The TV actually tends to irritate me. I could totally do without. (I only turn it on to watch movies, and rarely at that.)

Gah! I clicked on TV by mistake. I could totally do without it. There's already everything I want to watch on the computer... Unfortunately we don't have great enough of an internet to watch everything on it. We can't stream, only buffer for some time then watch.

If we had greater internet, I'm sure we would ditch the satelite. It's useless if you got a good connection.

I've got things like Archer and the Walking Dead if I want them on Netflix, bro.
