Voted and voted independent for the senate. I've been watching all these comedians berate both the Democrats and Republicans. Mostly the Republicans none of them tell the people to vote independent. It would take just 10 percent across the nation to vote independent to change the election process and both parties.

Its so depressing. I know it will be the same result tomorrow and all the tomorrow's in my life.

I don't vote anymore. Whomever you vote for, whatever party, they all turn out to be buttheads and sell us out. It's a no-win (no pun intended).

I am, unfortunately, not registered to vote in my current state, else I would.Although I didn't bother too hard probably because I too have lost faith in the system.

Voting out of protest is probably the most acceptable form of voting.

I have to say I did that once or twice. I voted straight down a party column, whether I liked or knew the candidates or not, just to say to the other party "I don't like you". It probably meant nothing to anyone but me.

As Will Rogers once lamented, I didn't vote for any organized party-- I voted Democratic.

Voting for either major party in protest is a throw away vote. You need to protest by voting independent. The party's for the presidential election get money awarded from your tax contributions based on votes. The actual presentation in the voting machines and right in sheets assembled based on over 10% of the vote.

They typically mix up the independents from district to district so if you say I voting row 3. In each district its a different person. Republicans and Democrats will always be the same row district to district.
