While I wonder if puppet rulers are even a real thing. So now I wonder if we do remove Assad and install our own puppet ruler if it will go the way of Iran.
Lol
Warning Russians and Syrians then bombing empty airbase.
Not convinced at all.
In truth they are allies who fights against islam.
The sad fact is that in the murky Syrian conflict there are plenty of players willing and able to pull false flag operations.Right off the bat I can tell this is a false flag. The chemicals being used I mean.
Can anyone explain to me why it would be to Assad's advantage to doing so? It seems more like war propaganda, like with Iraq to find the weapons of mass destruction that never existed.
Like bombs being rained on them? Such as how recently in Mosul a US air raid hit a building, inadvertently collapsed it, and up goes the civilian death toll. That's true, and I understand that. I just don't see it particularly more comforting to the civilians whether they die by chemical agent or being starved to death or other gruesome, painful and violent deaths.
I'd go with the water in a grease fire, as the water boils and evaporates and spews the ignited grease everywhere.More like throwing gasoline.
We played "new sheriff in town" in Iraq, and we went from having what is comparable to saying they went from a regime that is like that local Gangster's Disciples here where I live, and going in to get rid of them, and achieving nothing more than clearing the way for the Crips from LA move in and take over.It sends a signal that President Trump will use military force. This signal is basically aimed at North Korea who is a vastly more of a threat than Assad. This also says that, and I hate to
but it also says to Assad that unlike the previous president that if he does use chemical weapons the US will act. It also warns other nations in the area that there is, and to use a trite phrase, a new sherriff in town.
Do you realize that for about 200 years now, Western interference in the Middle East has never accomplished anything more than benefiting Western states and corporations, while continually escalating the violence and extremism in the Middle East? Haven't you noticed things keep only getting worse when a military campaign is launched against them?I praise President Donald Trump with all my heart and wish the European nations to learn a thing or two from America's new head of state in treating the growing menace of dictators who follow the Islamic faith.
I thank God for giving the USA a clear thinking and open-mouthed statesman and a captain who is able to see the distant signs and stars to chart his nation's ship to safe waters!
What action allowed ISIS to storm through huge chunks of Syria and Iraq?Do you realize that for about 200 years now, Western interference in the Middle East has never accomplished anything more than benefiting Western states and corporations, while continually escalating the violence and extremism in the Middle East? Haven't you noticed things keep only getting worse when a military campaign is launched against them?
It has been acknowledged by many, including those in the military, that Saddam acted as a "cork" that kept the pressures of Iraq from blowing. America got rid of the cork, and ISIS stormed through huge chucks of Syria and Iraq.
The tactics being used are tried and true and repeated failures.
Toppling Saddam Hussein is the main reason. Partisan politics in the USA is another biggie. What action allowed ISIS to storm through huge chunks of Syria and Iraq?
The act of overthrowing a sovereign nation, eliminating its leader who although brutal kept things relatively stable and far more safe than it was post-Iraq II, establishing a new state in America's own image and liking, and assuming they would like it and be happy and peaceful. Really, it's along the same reasons that lead to post-WWI conflicts after England and France drew up the borders for many Middle Eastern nations. What action allowed ISIS to storm through huge chunks of Syria and Iraq?
Yes.....where are they so I can gloat that I told them Trump gave us no reason to believe he'd be any different. Both gave us reason to believe they would continue "full speed ahead" with the same failed strategies and plans that have only wasted money and myriads of lives.BTW, where are those people now who said that Hillary was more of a "war-monger" than Trump? They must be hiding somewhere near by. Anyone seen them?
I still don't get it. They took out 26 (or so) planes with those "ground" missiles. They were "grounded" planes though. It was a joke, but you missed it...
Firing ground missiles at planes... yadda..
Very true. I agree completely. Apparently Trump warned the Russians before it happened. And, Winston would certainly agree with you.Hopefully there was an agreement with the Russians on this. Taking action is never without negative consequences and may escalate matters.., but the same can be said for turning a blind eye to evil dictators, your avatar would remind us all of that!
