UK electorate's views on US Election.

They didn't choose him. The fools among their supporters did, because they have been courting those fools for decades in order to win elections that they couldn't win any other way. So now they are stuck supporting their idiot mascot just to keep their own cushy positions. None of them wanted Trump. None of them think he is good for the country. But they are all so worried about keeping their own cushy jobs bilking the taxpayers on behalf of their rich cronies that they don't have the courage to say so, or to act against him.
Thanks for the reply. I'll take your word for it, that the Republican party didn't "want him",
but from here in the UK, that's the impression I get.
Also, I don't believe that Trump is the author of the policy he espouses.
The President is a figurehead, surely?

Trump has no policies except to keep himself out of prison and con anyone dumb enough to give him money out of as much of it as possible.

I like the USA but I wouldn't want to live there or be an American

Would love to go on holiday there though

Skanky Old Mongrel!
It doesn't surprise me at all.
I am really disappointed in all British Conservatives especially in the platinum blonde boy doll...
They prefer Harris because she wants WW3 meant to destroy Russia (and continental Europe will be destroyed too in the process).
A majority of Brit Conservatives certainly do not support Fascism, Estro.

And by voting for Harris the USA could avert a World War.

You may have been listening to propaganda.

I am gonna tell you that it took almost forty year for us Europeans to demolish the Berlin Wall...symbol of the division between East and West.
We will never erect another wall between West and East. Any more.

It is evident that in Washington DC they want us Europeans to fight an endless war against Russia.
We are SICK AND TIRED of this. We really are.

The wall started going up again when Putin became aggressive, the failure of the west to jump on him straight away can be criticised but there is no argument about who is the aggressor.

Your ire should be aimed at Russia not the EU

I'm not sure that either party are able to do that.
Both the US and Russian political systems are compromised.

They are both controlled by extremist factions of opposite poles, both with little regard
for human rights. :(

The issue here is that it's the US who want the wall between East and West.

We are not cretins...over here.
As soon as they saw Merkel and Putin shaking hands, our allies overseas had a heart attack...
they didn't like that.
It was the 2010s.

I watched it happen, Estro.
And many right wing Americans don't seem to care about Ukraine that much.
And so if Mr Putin can gain Ukraine then he might try another country, then another.
If you don't want another iron curtain then it might be a good idea to support the Ukrainians against Mr Putin's aims.

Or you might be sick and tired, all over again.

Alright Muhammad, I'm interested.
Now which country do you live in or support that you think has high regard for human rights?

If you give Mr Putin any more victories then you might soon be wanting a very big high wall

Leaders on diplomatic missions shake hands. It's very diplomatic

That's what I said, Cameron, Merkel, etc. thought they could work with Putin.
It wasn't the US who invaded Crimea and Ukraine.
If Putin hadn't been expansionist, there'd be no issues.

We are speaking of the early 21st century.
The US started antagonizing Russia...
so the narrative that Russia started it is a big lie.
And it shows how low certain people can stoop.

Rossija ljubimaja nasha stranà... LOL
Come on...
let's admit it ...it's the West who wants to conquer Russia and is accusing the enemy of its own doing.
Freudian projection-
Read Freud. ;)
No, the west wants peace; Russia wants land
