I kinda don't blame you for leaving.

Some members here, bless them, bash you, your ideals, you beliefs, your thoughts that has no offense,... etc., either by content of their post or by tone and sarcasm. Could be different for you.

I'm thinking of leaving here too.

But not yet ha ha :D

I just wanna mention two things that might help:

1) Discussing and debating the topics that are often common here is sometimes touchy and requires thick skin. So it's normal to feel offended from some posts, as it does get heated sometimes. You grow a thicker skin in time, and if not, then you learn how to avoid certain topics since they don't sit well with you (or of course you stop logging into the forum :D).

2) Most of the descriptions you mentioned would constitute rule violations (assuming they fit that description), so you should consider reporting them. It's not petty or vindictive to report rule violating posts, rather it helps us attempt to maintain a certain level or quality of discourse. You could check out the rules page and familiarize yourself with them in order to know which posts are more likely to be considered violations.

But not yet ha ha :D

Good. :D

Right on, cousin.

Too bad I'm too sensitive towards offending others or being offended. So even with deleted offensive posts, I would stay miserable for a while. It could take many days. I'm 30 and I still couldn't grow thick skin for it.

I did actually report a post before and the administration deleted it. Much obliged, guys.

Okay, I'll go and get offended :)

I understand exactly what you mean.

That post where the guy was talking about the pleasure he get's from killing ants, and watching them squirm as they die, really affected my Karma (and my practice) for a few days. Not good.

Hmmm....if you ever see a thread entitled "Fun With A Magnifying Glass", avoid it.
