... just a silly attempt to smear gay rights advocates...

Take a look at what a "gay" activist is backing now. Should we expect any less.

Bestiality 'OK if animal approves'

Not-so-fun fact: in Florida, bestiality is legal. There is no law prohibiting the practice.

The Florida legislature passed their "Defense of Marriage Act" in 1997 explicitly prohibiting same-sex marriage. 11 years later, House Bill 1227, "Sexual Activities Involving Animals", which would have finally made bestiality illegal, died in committee this past May.

This group of lawmakers who have demonstrated their opposition to same-sex marriage have also demonstrated, through their inaction, their support for legalized bestiality in the most direct way possible: by keeping it legal.

Thank goodness for this evidence that our nation's lawmakers still have standards.

Of course, their standards are disgusting. But, hey, we can't have everything!

So, what's the problem? I'm reminded of a video link posted recently by Father Heathen I think. It was a Youtube video about a couple who like to both have sex with the woman's horse. Since the horse did all of the work, I would assume the horse was consenting. I personally find the idea repulsive, but why should we stop people from doing things like that?

When you're reincarnated as a horse you'll understand why.

No, the thing is when it's something like that couple who were both being penetrated by the horse (sorry to get so graphic), the horse was obviously initiating it, or else he could just not have done it at all. When the roles are reversed, that's one thing, but in cases like this, the animal obviously consents. If I was a horse, I'd have no problem with it, if I initiated it.

When I was 12 years old, my best friend found a magazine in her older sister's room that was X-rated. She read to me an article about a man's intense affair with his golden retriever. I had daydreams for days about half dog, half human creatures (even then, I knew that was impossible).

But seriously, it may hurt the animal to do that. I don't like the idea of hurting something that can't say yes or no.
