United Toward God Movement.

Defender of the Truth
A new religious movement. NOT a religion. It is not intended to replace previous religion but to add to it. Revealed to Swami Peter Bliss in the spring of 1999. Believes in one God who reveals Itself in many forms over time and space as an individual or society requires. Believes in an afterlife where all living things will be reunited again and again in progressive reincarnation and eventual universal salvation. Authorizes the Defender of the Truth (Swami Bliss) to name Friends of the Truth, Enemies from Within, and Enemies from Without (although none have been named). Also teaches against Falsehoods of four types: Superstitions, Heresy, Blasphemy, and Idolatry. Seeks the unity of all religions and the elimination of atheism and agnosticism through conversion. Encourages monarchy and vegetarianism.

I don't think so we need another religion or religious movement. Already so many others are there serving the humanity.

I am concerned about any group that desires to "eliminate atheism and agnosticism through conversion". I am also troubled by the thought of Enemies (Within and without). Hopefully the "Swami" will not get many followers.

Yes but then somebody will disagree with just a couple pieces of that and make another religious movement, and there will be continuous branches just as we do with religions today.

perhaps a New Consciousness is what is required ? Religions, for all the good that can come forth from them, do tend to divide believers.
