Synthetic oil is just as/more efficient than the regular stuff to.
Wonder how long cuz we haven’t gotten there yet. Prolly after we run out of oil unfortunately

Renewables depend upon complicated manufacturing techniques. People cannot make them at home or go over to the next town. They require factories, so its possible that something will stop them from being made. :(

Given dropping prices for renewables and technical developments, it will be cheaper than petroleum. And we also have fusion reactors starting to look technically feasible in the intermediate future.

True, but that's why I am hoping manufacturing efficiency is cheapened and streamlined so as to be affordable for the consumer.
