Zhakir, I'll ask you a question: if we're create by some deity, shouldn't we expect to see some evidence of this? For example, shouldn't there be some trace in our DNA, or our chemical makeup, that points to a creator? But the mapping of the human genome was the last great step in completely understanding humans, at least from a biological perspective. And yet, there's nothing there, that I can see, that would point to some sort of supernatural creator. How do you account for this?

That's right.

According to the Qur'an, Adam was created out of clay, and nothing in our body show trace of molecules of clay.

Clay, and I really mean real clay, come from weathering of minerals, like phyllosilicate minerals (mineral is a compound that contained silicon atoms with metal-type atoms, like aluminum). The organic properties in clay is actually what make clay impure, and the impurity come from animals body that have decomposed, from animal feces, from plants (trees, bushes, etc) that have decomposed.

Clay may also contained water, but that doesn't really change the clay minerals. Water just make the clay malleable and sticky.

There is no trace of clay in our body.

Zhakir, I'm probably the only one here that has a little sympathy for your position but I'm still an evolutionist. I believe evolution was fostered by higher-beings/nature-spirits. Science can't address this belief at this time, so it's an non-testable hypothesis in science's eyes. That doesn't mean we can't hold the belief based on sources not accepted by science.

What is main reason for considering the concept of "intelligent designer" unscientific?

Because the concept of an "intelligent designer" is not testable using science.

Let us propose, for the sake of discussion, that God exists. While revelation may tell us certain things about God, science--because science can only deal with the natural world--cannot.

Once you bring into a scientific discussion any concept of the supernatural, the discussion is ended.
