For the 1st time ever, I'm voting a straight Democrat ticket.
Why?
If Trump wins, the number of Republicans who'd support
his bigoted, unconstitutional, vengeful, stupid, lawless,
treasonous, theocratic agenda should be minimized.

I hope there comes a time when there is once again a reasonable conservative party alternative or at least one that is not so dangerous that you can consider a third option. But you are wise to understand that that is not the situation now.

I'm wise?

I seriously doubt that even you believe that absurd pretense.
Well that’s ok if you want to doubt me. Let me say that I am an honest individual. I can view your belief in me being dishonest as projection. I am nothing but honest and always assume the other side is being honest as well. I will continue to accept what you say as your honest thoughts however, and ignore the potential projection of dishonesty. Makes conversation easier.

I think that post is more about derision for
you view than belief that you're dishonest.
Some people's children just live in a world
of hostility, eh.

I'm not voting, because I want whoever you want to win, to win.. You the voter. Whoever wins, fine. I have too much proximal stress to actually care: certain career I decisions I make in the next couple weeks will matter far more to me by November 6, than whoever wins the top chair. Maybe when I'm a senior I'll care more. But I'm not quite 40, so I still have a bunch of years left at the grindstone. If I don't try to apply for the better job at my place of employment, I might risk a lack of job stability, and possibly homelessness quite frankly. If Kamala or Trump wins, whatever. More power to 'em , they are playing a completely different game than I am.

I think that's the least dangerous of Trump's
several dangerous traits & agendas.
But hey, by itself it's a very good reason
to vote against him.
Children probably don’t understand the nuances of economic, domestic, foreign, etc. political policies. But they can probably understand that a man is bad if he assaults a woman. And if we as adults allow a man who assaults women to be President, I just don’t see that being a good lesson for the children. I don’t know squat about their politics really other than Trump does not like immigrants. But I understand that us as adults can project an image of morality to our children. Electing Donald Trump does the opposite.
That’s just me pondering it a bit further.

I voted against Trump for many obvious reasons. I voted Democrat across the board because the current Republicans are dangerous to what makes America worth living in.

It's bad enough that Trump is an obvious criminal. It's even worse that he directly undermines The Constitution.

I hope a Harris presidency isn't too bad. I favor progressive policies to a certain extent. On the whole Democrats are always cleaning up Republican failures.

Politics is such a messy business and far from being anything of an exact science. Voting since I've been alive has always been about choosing the candidates who do the least damage instead of the most good.

I'll always vote against trickle down economics. The rules are rigged in favor of the extremely wealthy.

I will bring voting the full Democrat line for the first time in my life. Anybody associated with the piece of trash leading the Republicans doesn't deserve to be elected.
