I was once told that the cross I wear is an idol- It isn't one because I don't worship it.

And what's wrong about asking a person what their religion is? Hardly anyone asks me that but I am not offended when they do. Why is it so terrible if someone knows your religion? Why must it be kept a secret? No one who has asked me ever judged me for it- never made any comment at all about- I assume they were just curious. They also ask me how many children I have.

I'm sorry, did I say there is something wrong with asking,I said I am amazed how many ask,I never said its wrong.

I'm sorry you've had so many bad experiences with Christians. I have too and I am a Christian. Here's hoping you have some more positive experiences to balance things out. :)

I know some fantastic christians, have been openly critisized by Muslims and athiest to,this particular story with the taxi drive just happened to be an Egyptian orthodox christian.

A personal problem not a christian one,I have a friend who is a minister,we have great discussions, his wife however makes very negative Buddhists comments.

A catholic priest used to have dinner at my home almost weekly until he moved, amazing guy,bit of a drink driver though, lol.

Muslims don't seem to really care what I am.

its how angry people get that surprises me.

I believe Jesus and Buddha would have gotten along great.
