USA and Russia war soon ?

This is nothing more than posturing by the Russians. They know that Obama will not risk any conflict that would be detrimental to his legacy, especially since he has less that 3 months left in office. Putin knows this and is attempting to show that Russia is the dominating power in the Mid-East.
Now depending on who is the next President of the U.S., will determine how the situation in the Mid-East is addressed.
Hillary is considered more Hawkish than Trump by many. Source However, it is unimaginable that the U.S. and Russia would engage in military action over the situation in Syria with either Hillary or Trump as president. One may be considered hawkish and the other reckless, but neither are stupid.

The USA has the world's largest economy, Russia's is comparable with Italy. The USA has 10 supercarriers, Russia has one small carrier that's falling apart. I could go on, but why bother? I think you are mistaken.
Although it is hard to say. The USA does behave a lot like Trump. We tend to maintain an illusion of vast wealth by financial shenanigans and debt, finding ourselves "unable to afford" more prosaic things like education and infrastructure. Similar to Trump who won't pay contractors if he can just declare bankruptcy and go home to his golden penthouse because he is so smart.

It just seems boiling after the Iraq war. The US created a mess and helped form Isis. Russia is now in Syria fighting Isis, albeit whatever other interests they have while the US lives comfortably overseas and Russia borders the hell-hole. The US trying to interfere with what they're doing in Syria.

It is unwise in my opinion to sever whatever ties left we have with Russia, arm terrorists to fight terrorists, and interfere with a disaster we created all while the current leaders won't even admit that.

This story, in the several places I've read it, comes across as 'trying to influence our election' and 'saber rattling.' I really hope that is spot on. But certainly seems that whatever Dems are doing in current relations with Russia has gotten us (U.S.) to the point where tensions are pretty darn high between the leading parties of each country. I'm not sure how this bodes well if Hillary gets elected and maintains Obama stance as it relates to Russia. If Dems/HRC are sure of Russia hacking and Russia maintains defense of they are not involved, it would seem relations are plausibly doomed from the start.

I look forward to the LW spin on all this to try and assure us all that it will be all peaches and cream going forward, and war hawk Hillary will not unleash a global thermonuclear war.

If and I say if the Russian government is behind all of this I do not think it is because they prefer Trump over Hillary. I think it is because Putin has no respect for Obama and since Hillary is tied to Obama anything that hurts Hillary tweaks Obama.

I think many world leaders see Hillary making a lot of poor irrational choices that will help cause/lead to a world war.
Definitely agree that it's being spun as an influence and as peaches and cream all to get votes. It's easy to spin everything off as peaches and cream and Russophobia living comfortably overseas while other countries and Russia have to deal with the mess.

But if Putin considers Trump a flabby blowhard and Clinton a tough competitor, of course Putin would want Trump to win.
