It is time to talk about everyone's favorite subject... me, i mean, you!
Tell us all about your user name.

Me first.
Years ago,12 i think, when my son was just 14 years old, he went to the west coast from the east coast to stay with family for the summer.
I needed a user name to communicate with him.
Back then we used AIM.
I picked the name fatherofaking because he was known by his friends as King.
I used the name for years until people began to shorten it and call me foak.
I took on that name for a time and then morphed into allfoak.

When I was in my early twenties, I visited my friend who was studying at San Luis Obispo State University. We shopped at some stores and I noticed a local brand of beach wear named Moondoggies. I purchased a sweater and it was one of my favorite at the time. This was about the same time when the internet was emerging with very simple social media accounts. I chose moondog as my very first nick. Over time, I tried using it for other accounts but other folks kept on taking the nick so I jumped over to suncow. Then people started taking that nick too so I took on iamsuncow and, now, suncowiam.

That's all.

Well, my middle name is Carlita. My father's name is Carl, so I'm his little 'ita.

I wish I can change my username to unveiled artist. I write, draw, play piano, some painting, and other passions within the art field. It's a strong passion so much it is part of my spirituality, communication, and prayer.

I liked religiousgypsy (a while back) but people get offended from the word gypsy even though I have a right to use it. So, I dropped it. If I'm allowed to change my name, it would be unveiled artist since a lot of our passions are hidden within ourselves as for we express ourselves the best we can in our creativity.

I was on the internet when it started and kept changing accounts to lower my cost. Dial up was expensive. Every name I used would come back already used and put this ridiculous number on the end. I finally got a Yahoo account and I'm Bob and I love hiking so Bobhikes and it actually took no number needed. There is only one site that I use where I am Bobhikes1 such a simple User name and it describes me. If only passwords were as easy.

Saint = the part of me that strives for holiness and unity
Frankenstein = (as in the doctor), the Promethean, rebellious side of me

Frankenstein is also a nickname a friend gave to me. I'm Catholic and one of my patron Saints is St. Francis of Assisi, and he is my IRL namesake. I'm also from San Francisco, which is named after him. "SF" can be an abbreviation of San Francisco. So my username basically captures me as a whole, in a nutshell.

I'm glad you explained "Father O'faking".
Otherwise I'd think you're an Irish priest in disguise.

On my old forum, I had many monikers, but eventually I was once Revolting.
Problems arose, & I returned as Revoltinger.
More problems, so I became who I am now.

I'm beenherebeforeagain (and beenherebeforebefore before that on another forum) because I have been here (in this world) before more than once--or so I believe--as in reincarnation/transmigration/whatever.

I spent a lot of time explaining the origin of that name.:)
Had one poster just loved calling me Father.:)

Salix Incendium is a name used on another forum translated into Latin. It represents the classical element of my zodiac sign along with the genus of my patron tree.

"Quagmire" was the first word to pop into my head when I found this place.

Seriously, I'd never even seen an episode of Family Guy at that point.

The only other connection I have with the word is that for a long time I said if I ever had a son, I'd name him Quagmire.

And hope that he got along well with his sisters, Flatulence and Promiscuity.

Mine began with Xbox. My Gamertag was everything; specter_wulf, Oceanborn, Spartan of Odin. But nothing seemed right. I finally settled when I saw a liscence plate from Louisiana, with "the Ragin' Cajuns!" emblazoned on it. Thus, was The Ragin Pagan born. Now it's my everything; Xbox LIVE, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram. And here.

This place is indeed a quagmire.

Jainarayan (jeh-nah-rah-yuhn) is a genuine Hindi male name meaning "victory [to God]". Narayana is Vishnu. When I adopted Hinduism I wanted to take a "liturgical" name. I went to an Indian name database and plopped my finger down on Jainarayan. Nothing more than that.

My Viking alter-ego name is Thórbjōrn (Thor-byurn), and means "thunder bear", which I went by on this site for a while when I dabbled in Heathenry. Þórr (Thor, i.e. Thunder) is my hero, and I am a fat hairy bear.

Well, technically "Thórbjōrn" would mean "Thor's Bear" in the same sense that Torolf/Torulf is "Thor's Wolf". "Thunder" alone is þrumði or þrymja

My username has a very obvious meaning, as you've probably noticed.
I can't pinpoint exactly when I came up with the name, but it was at quite a young age.
The goal in mind is to one day pull out a sincere and mostly positive interpretation whenever I say it.

My username is a feminine Quenya name that means "song". If you don't know what "Quenya" is, good for you - you're not a hopeless nerd.

When I was ready to join RF I was trying to think of a name that was not likely to be someone's name on some other forum. I was having so much trouble coming up with something suitable and unique that I was just about to give up and not even register, out of frustration.

So, I asked myself a few questions about why I was registering here? For conversation.
To convince anyone? No.
For anyone to convince me? No.
Then, why? To have conversation and present what I have to say for their consideration and to take what they have to say for my consideration. Hence, 4consideration.

I guess I will be one of those dreaded thread necros.

Obviously "Lvcifer" means "Lucifer" as "v" is "u" in the modern English ialphabet. "Lucifer" means "light bearer". To be a light bearer is to bear spiritual knowledge and wisdom. This has nothing to do with Satan but can allude to figures such as Jesus Christ and the Buddha.

"Invictus" means "unconquered" so it just reinforces it.
