Vegetarianism makes you a better person?

Does vegetarianism actually make you a better person?

Or do you agree with the following statement more? "What goes into someone's mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them."

Do you know any mean vegetarians?
Jesus Christ said those words you quoted. The Bible also assures us that
"One man has faith to eat everything, but the man who is weak eats only vegetables. Let the one eating not look down on the one not eating, and let the one not eating not judge the one eating, for God has welcomed him." (Romans 14:2,3) And 1 Corinthians 8:8 assures us: "But food will not bring us nearer to God; we are no worse off if we do not eat, nor better off if we eat."

So not eating at all is an option promoted by the Bible?? Makes sense, in the sense that the Bible often makes no sense at all.

This is a very old, but good illustration of how wrong it is to say that we are omnivores

I talked about this in the other thread a little, and bare in mind I have been defending Vegetarianism for a very long time in this thread, but that chart is wrong.
It makes wholly inaccurate statements about our digestive systens, the significance of teeth and denture movements, and the categorization of carnivores, herbivores and omnivores. Here is an article from a vegan and vegan site about why that chart is inaccurate and shouldn't be used:

I agree, DigiArtist.
Teeth are irrelevant in the case of hominins. We've been processing our food externally for a million years. Hands, tools, fire -- we no longer even have a snout.
Our dentition is just a relict.

Seriously? Teeth are irrelevant? The length of digestive tract is irrelevant? The acidity of gastric juices is irrelevant?

Our morphology lags behind our culture.
Culture can change practically overnight.
