Not a recipe really but first get some VENISON.
That means you or someone that hunts, first kills a deer.
I have most of the deer ground into burger with about 20% pork sausage added.
Wild meat is very dry compared to commercial meat stock.
Then use your favorite chili recipe only use the venison/pork meat.
AWESOME.
Venison chops, the tenderloin cooked rare to med. rare is also without equal.
Got a Bambi complex? Get over it. Wild game was given to us by God for our
use.
NOT ABUSE, but use.

Here's another Biblical take on use of animals.
( not abuse)
Question: "What does it mean that God gave humanity dominion over the animals?"

Answer:
The word dominion means “rule or power over.” God has sovereign power over His creation and has delegated the authority to mankind to have dominion over the animals (Genesis 1:26). David reinforces this truth: “You made [mankind] rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet” (Psalm 8:6). Humanity was to "subdue" the earth (Genesis 1:28)—we were to hold a position of command over it; we were placed in a superior role and were to exercise control over the earth and its flora and fauna. Mankind was set up as the ruler of this world. All else was subjugated to him.

After the flood, God gave the animals as food for humanity to eat (Genesis 9).

Genesis 27:3
"Now then, please take your gear, your quiver and your bow, and go out to the field and hunt game for me;

I could go on and on but if you don't see the point more verses
won't help.

I hunt animals for food occasionally. I was raised in the country and
all the boys my age hunted.
If I had to depend upon my hunting skills to survive I'd be in deep
doo-doo. (well maybe not)
I don't want to go on a rant about the fact that license fees and taxes
PAY for the wildlife we enjoy.
Whitetail deer were extinct in Ohio around 1900. Outdoors people
PAID large money to have deer trapped elsewhere and relocated to
Oh. There was NO hunting at all for deer in Oh. until the 1950's
and then by special license and permits on select property.
Ohio's deer herd is a huge conservationist success story.
Samo with waterfowl. It costs $25 for a State license, another $25 for
a Federal Stamp and then more for a Duck Stamp. (Federal)
Nearly $100 bucks to bag a couple ducks? Really?

Evidence?

You could interchange "god" with "nature", but canines and incisors, forward facing eyes, etc.

But anyway, a friend and neighbor of my folks makes deer salami and jerky when he goes hunting. Delicious.

You can thank Ducks Unlimited, one of the premier conservation groups in the nation, as well as a lot of other groups that like and support hunting and fishing. Without limitations on hunting and fishing, and the preservation of habitat areas (enforced by the state and federal governments), the entire eastern half of the country (at least) would be largely devoid of wildlife...and probably most of the west as well.

Although, we do seem to have a surplus of Canadian Geese of late...
