Voices Without A Vote

I had not seen this film clip produced by local San Diego college and high school students. I think that they put forth a very emotional message.

I stomached about 1.5 minutes of blatant attempts to make me weepy. Long enough to laugh at a bunch of pampered suburban teens insisting on 'protecting' our borders.

Who wants to bet that it ain't the Canadians that worry them?

Oh, then you missed the best part about "one common language," even though the Constitution doesn't grant any official language for the USA...and then they demand that you vote for "Constitutionalists" and "Patriots." Good lord.

"Reagan principles"? (2.42)
Good god. I remember all too well the cosy relationship between Reagan and Thatcher back in the day. We don't need a revival of those particular principles.

Oh yeah - and any video that relies on wind-swept sandy beaches to get a message across? Forget it.

No, 'they' don't, but the producers certainly do.

But emotional drivel is drivel nontheless. It's rather sad that you find it so appetizing.
From what I understand the "producers" were the college and high school students that put this film together. So, I assume that you are not buying what they believe?

What particular principles do you find so distasteful?

Are you kidding me? You believe these kids made that video all by themselves?

Where do you get this stuff?

Here you go. The video was produced by Graham Ledger, a PR industry marketing professional with 20 years of experience, and a Tea Party candidate for the San Diego School Board.

Seriously. Why on earth would you assume this was something other than a campaign ad? There's nothing whatsoever to indicate these kids are anything other than paid actors (bad ones) delivering lines written by a political hack. Did somebody tell you it was produced by the teens? Who?

This is friggin hilarious.....It's no wonder we don't allow uninformed CHILDREN the right to vote. "Vote for conservatives".....I almost tinkled on myself...

This add it tantamount to child abuse...making these kids read from a designed script of talking points...man you've out done yourself.....I see now the choice is much clearer....

Please don't stop firing up the Democratic base....

Yep. And was produced for the organization, im2moro.org.
im2moro.org was founded by Audrea Taylor. If you read through the site thoroughly, and check out some of Audreas speeches, you can see this is nothing more than Tea Party Jr.

"no more socialism, no more social programs"
English as our national language.
Nationalism.
Misquoting the first line of the Declaration of Independence.

The real "voices without a vote" are those voters disenfranchised by new *edit* RNC backed voter ID laws.

The incredible thing is that it took me all of two clicks, straight from the youtube video, to find out who made it. I clicked the account of the person who posted it, then the link at the top of his Youtube channel. Ta-da! It took me less than five seconds.

Amazing.
