Was Jesus Gay?

I'm gay as a goose, and I've always found this speculation about Jesus silly. He "used his hands" to baptize people, and so...that means what? He was jerking them off? Like, it's almost comically absurd. It's a South Park episode, not serious history.

I don't know anything about Ms. Blatvasky. Whenever someone starts talking about "Secret Gospels" or some secret teaching of Jesus or whatever, I can pretty much peg that whatever will proceed out of their mouth next will be coo-coo.

I find it very sad, and a little disturbing, that some people today can't make room for men who become close friends with other men. There are in fact men who love each other dearly, and its entirely platonic. We sometimes joke about it as a "bromance." :) The Bible talks about Jesus and "the disciple that he loved," and some people immediately jump to the conclusion that they must be gay. Same thing with David and Jonathan. "After David had finished talking with Saul, Jonathan became one in spirit with David, and he loved him as himself." MUST be gay! SMH

The Bible uses various approaches to describe sexual relations and other themes, ranging from subtle to more explicit.

Daniel 1:9
Now, the Elohim made Daniel find love and familial favor in the eyes of the chief of the eunuchs.

The Hebrew text uses terms like "חֶסֶד" (hesed, love, kindness) and "רַחֲמִים" (rachamim, feeling of love) to describe the relationship between "The elohim" and Daniel. This passage speaks of how elohim gave Daniel favor and compassion in the eyes of the chief of the eunuchs.

Daniel 14:2 (Bel and the Dragon)
"Daniel was a companion of the king and the most honored of all his close associates."

This apocryphal text shows Daniel in a high position and esteem before the king and his friends. The description reflects the honor and trust Daniel had for his wisdom and character.

These texts reflect the variety of styles and purposes in the Hebrew Bible and apocryphal, using metaphors, direct language, and descriptive storytelling to convey subtle theological messages.

I'm neutral regarding activism for liberal causes, without being indifferent, as the world is secular and the kingdom of Jesus is metaphysical, not of this world. I strive to maintain a "Christian thought" that is not hypocritical and respects the various translation options of the sacred writings.

I feel lost here. I don't see Daniel 1:9 saying even one thing about sexual relations. It was not uncommon for officials in the King's court to have been castrated. The point of the verse here is not that Daniel was having a sexual relationship with a eunuch, but that a major official in the King's court approved of him highly.

I'm not sure here, but it appears to me that you think "haelohim" refers to more than one being. Please do correct me if I've misunderstood.

Actually, the term translates to "the God" and includes the definite article "Ha" (ה), meaning "the." It specifies a particular deity, usually referring to the God of Israel in a specific and unique sense. This form is used when the text is identifying or emphasizing the singular, particular God worshiped by the Israelites.

Again, nothing there that refers to sexual relations.
Daniel 14:2 (Bel and the Dragon)

Perhaps you have simply left the topic of homosexuality and sexual relations.

No. He wasn't a communist, socialist, anarchist, libertarian, capitalist, American, Brit, Democrat or a Republican either. If we're going to make up silly things about Jesus, I say he was a polar bear. Hate to burst your bubbles. It's just as valid as any other clueless assertion.

I have literally no clue

There’s virtually no evidence to suggest so, other than how people interpret specific words

There’s some evidence to suggest Mary and Yeshua were a couple, but even that depends on interpretation…

Either, would it matter if Christ was gay?
… well silly question… it would matter hugely to the Christian’s and Jews

Perhaps if Christ was gay, then Christian’s and Jews wouldn’t stigmatise homosexuality so much

No idea

Tell me why.......................

was jesus hanging out with a naked youth all night?????????????????????????
Never happened.

You are probably thinking of Mark 14:51-52
"A young man, wearing nothing but a linen cloth, was following Jesus. When they seized him, he fled naked, leaving his cloth behind."

As you can see, the young man was only naked when he ran away. Absolutely nothing in that verse saying Jesus spent all night with him in the nude.
