Was Jesus homeless

Jesus was not homeless.

He left Nazareth and made his home in Capernaum by the lake, in the territory of Zebulun and Naphtali… (Matthew 4:13

When he returned to Capernaum after some days, it was reported that he was at home. So many gathered around that there was no longer room for them, not even in front of the door; and he was speaking the word to them. (Mark 2:1-2

I would like to know how much a house cost in Jesus time period if anyone happens to know. Googling it isn't giving me a straight answer.

Every prophecy mentioned about Jesus is first about Israel and then is interpreted by Christians to be also about Jesus. Israel is homeless, so Jesus is, too. They are frequently ousted from their homeland and wander about like gypsies, so the prophecies also say Jesus is homeless. He could, however, give in to temptation and become the king of the world instead (from the story of his temptation in the wilderness). He could simply rule directly, bow to Satan, give in to his appetites and abandon the dream of the father in heaven.

He choose to be an itinerant prophet because he believed god was about to judge Israel for disregarding the covenant. So in other words he choose to be homeless and poor during his ministry

I'm not saying he never camped outside before at periods of time, but scripture is clear he did have a home. He ministered away from home and ministered near his home as well.

The Bible is not clear if Jesus was a carpenter. His father, Joseph, was a "tekton". A Greek term for a laborer, that was usually a woodworker of some sort. In those days one usually followed in one's fathers footsteps so the odds are that he would have been trained as a woodworker, but we have no clue if he did any such work, beyond the rather traditional roles that people followed in those days. And for many ages afterwards. In English many last names reflect the work of an ancestor. Smith, Baker, Shepherd, Fletcher, all last names and also occupations.
