How can one be a hypocrite when one is known to be as trustworthy?
People are "known" for all sorts of things that they aren't. Especially, when they have a fanatical cult worshiping them.

How can one be a hypocrite when one is known to be as trustworthy?
My studies of Muhammad have not led me to the conclusion that he was trustworthy. Just because a claim is made, doesn't mean the claim is true.
Let me give you another example: Many, many, many times in the Quran the claim is made that Allah is merciful. But if you read the Quran with an objective perspective, Allah seems to be anything BUT merciful. So things like trustworthiness and mercifulness are proved through actions, not words.
Did you know that back in the day keeping your word was a big deal?
For some of us, it still is.
By the way, the son that he was about to sacrifice at the Kaaba was Muhammad's father.
My sense is that he was smart, charismatic, a good politician, and a good general. But I also think he was a liar, a hypocrite, and probably a sociopath - much like many of today's politicians
You ever notice the only thing that just keeps calling him trustworthy is Islamic sources? You ever notice that they destroyed just about everything that may of said otherwise or any nonmuslim account of the time of Muhammad?
You must have the same issues with Judaism and Christianity though, right? There are the same rules, for example in Deuteronomy, that Jews and Christians do not follow anymore. Was having your right hand chopped off a death sentence if you are not allowed to eat with your left hand?
38. Cut off (from the wrist joint) the (right) hand of the thief, male or female, as a recompense for that which they committed, a punishment by way of example from Allah. And Allah is All-Powerful, All-Wise.
Quran (5:38) - "As to the thief, Male or female, cut off his or her hands: a punishment by way of example, from Allah, for their crime: and Allah is Exalted in power." Keep in mind that the Quran promises the most severe of punishments for those who believe in one part of the Quran, but not the other (2:85). There is no such thing as moderate Islam. Those Muslims who reject cutting off hands for theft are disregarding an explicit rule in the Quran. This makes them subject to punishment from true believers, since they are hypocrites by definition (see 66:9).
Yeah! What the sexy horse said!My studies of Muhammad have not led me to the conclusion that he was trustworthy. Just because a claim is made, doesn't mean the claim is true.

IS your argument then that "Hey people wanted to keep their word, they couldn't lie! No one would ever lie about something!"Did you know that back in the day keeping your word was a big deal? Even Abd al-Muṭṭalib was about to sacrifice his son just because he had to keep his word. Abd al-Muṭṭalib was an old man with only 1 son, he vowed that if he were to have ten sons to protect him, he would sacrifice one of them to Allah at the Kaaba. Later, after nine more sons had been born to him, he told the people he must keep the vow.
Out of curiosity, in your opinion, would this sacrifice have been a moral act?
He probably was mentally unbalanced. After all, he claimed to have been spoken to by a god. He was uneducated and indeed illiterate. He was also a war monger, and he was certainly a pedophile, as he married a 9 year-old girl.
He is not alone however, as a goodly percentage of the past world's religious leaders and Holy Men have been mentally unbalanced. At least inofar as modern psychiatric diagnoses would say. Hell, (see what I just did there? LOL) I think that even those Young Earthers, and folks who think the Old Testament is the literal and inerrant world of god are delusional at the least, and are harboring quasi-psychotic ideation even.
What are the chances your great grand mother was 10 years old when she gave birth?
The chances are zero, since I know she was 23.
What is your point? If you don't have one I will report you for trolling.
Well, everyone was against it. The Quraysh protested ‘Abdul-Muṭṭalib's intention to sacrifice his son and demanded that he sacrifice something else instead. They ended up sacrificing 100 camels.
The chances are she was about 13. I was actually talking about your great great great grandmother.
You're wrong again.
You're really bad at this, aren't you? You sound like you're about 13 yourself. LOL
Here...learn something...............
When Did Teen Girls Stop Commonly Getting Married?
Mohammed was a pedophile, just so you know.
Was having your right hand chopped off a death sentence if you are not allowed to eat with your left hand?
