Was President Biden’s poor performance during the presidential debate a Divine Intervention?

Kathryn

It was on fire when I laid down on it.

And yet none if that is true. Inflation is happening, but it's happening around the world amd there isn't much one personcan do about it (what would you do to handle things that are driving inflation, such as pirates?). Crime is going down. Immigrants flock here when there's a Dem president. Amd runaway spending? Like or not Reps are more spendy than Dems.
My biggest concern is centralization of government aside from my list of recent dissatisfactions on how things are going right now with the people presently in charge, and that would be the Democrat party.

Centralization on the federal level is on the top of my list that concerns me the most at this time.

And yet Trump is the one who pushed for immunity from prosecution.

Maybe you could put it as immunity for oneself, but not immunity for one's actions which of course Trump does not have such alleged unlimited power due to the Constitution, the Bill of Rights , and the checks and balances established in American government by the framers of this country. The SCOTUS has already outlined that quite clearly in that regard.

Apologies for my bad phrasing -- I do read your posts, and I was speaking broadly of "us," not "you."

And that's my fear -- that with just 4 months left, there's nobody who could replace Biden and gain enough traction by election day. It's beginning to look like a no-win situation, and my only hope is that come election day, the Democrats and enough independents will simply vote for whoever they put up, just to keep Trump out of the White House. There will be enough ads warning of the dangers by the time the election rolls around.
That’s a 100% legitimate fear. All signs point to another Trump presidency.
