Wavy hair

Shampoo 1/3 days and conditioner 1/3 days, not everyday. Two days if you sweat a lot. But if you wash hair with shampoo too much, it will be a problem.

Does anyone here know how to take care of it? When i was a kid I'd get in serious trouble for my hair being messy. But that's cuz I always had to treat it like straight hair that wouldn't behave. It's actually wavy when it's longer. And I came to the realization last night maybe that's why it was messy. Cuz I don't know how to care for wavy hair.

My hair lady said that mine behaves best when it's long. Right now it's at my shoulders and I don't like it. It is all "boofy." The weight of the hair has to pull it down to get it to behave. I also can't brush it or it will frizz, so I use a wide tooth comb. Half the time I just let it go without combing. It doesn't tend to make it look much better by combing it. Lighter layers are better than heavy ones too. Hope that helps.

Go to WalMart. But clippers. Cut like a miniature lawn, once every month.

Yes, a lot more. Two or three times a week - at bedtime. Work it well into the scalp of course and rinse it off the next morning. Don't worry about the horrific smell - that just shows it's working.

Well, I'll give it a shot...

But why would I rub the feces into my scalp if I wanted a beard?

I have wavy/curly hair too. Something I started doing differently in the last couple of years is that now I only wash it in cold water. A few people have commented that my hair looks healthier now (it tended to be kind of dry before because I'm out in the sun a lot) even though I've stopped using conditioner.
