Doctrine and Covenants 38: 41
And let your preaching be the warning voice, every man to his neighbor, in mildness and in meekness.
Doctrine and Covenants 88: 81
Behold, I sent you out to testify and warn the people, and it becometh every man who hath been warned to warn his neighbor.
Just as Noah was ridiculed for building a ship to save his family from the flood/death/complete destruction of the world, so too will those who preach escapism (First Resurrection doctrine/catching away of the saints) from this world, prior to it's destruction, be ridiculed.
See this link: First Second Third and Fourth Watch (Joseph Smith Inspired Version)
I'm not preaching Utube doctrine, I'm preaching straight from our very own scriptures that so many refuse to read, ponder and pray about.
FFH,
Mormons claim to believe the Bible, the Holy Scriptures that were inspired by God, Himself. Notice what God's word says, 2Tm 3:16,17, God's word is good for teaching, for setting things straight, so that the man is COMPLETELY EQUIPPED for every good work. If the man of God is completely equipped with the Bible, what need do we have for the Book of Morman
What does the Bible itself say about adding or taking away from God's word?? Rev 22:18,19.
Even stronger language is used by the Apostle Paul at Gal 1:6-9. These scriptures say that any man who tells anything different from God's word the Bible is cursed, so why would anyone want to believe another book, when it puts you in the class Paul talks about???
No human being on earth needs any book except the inspired word of God. The problem is most do not study God's word and are mislead by false teachers, 2Tim 4:2-5, 2Pet 2:1-3, 2Pet 3:14-18.
