This is a good day to be a republican and American! Daddy Trump just got elected into office after our long fight, and not only that, republicans have been able to hold the majority of both the senate and congress! Not only that either, Canada now has to bring in all the liberal minded socialist commie scum that was making our nation so ****ty, so now we can clear the way and Make America Great Again! Putin has already prepared to start talking with Trump to bring friendly relation between both Russia and the US((No ww3, thank god)), we won't be getting refugees, jobs will increase big time, and we can truly bring America back!

This is a very good day, and a good first time vote by far! I am truly proud the be a American, and I can't wait to see what road lies ahead. Let's do it my fellow Americans!

I hope trump stays on message and doesn't do an Obama and reverse course. I am only for illegal immigrants being sent home until they can say they want to be a USA citizen. I am only for shunning rMuslims (lthe 'r' stands for 'radical' ie extremist) not moderate Muslims. I have no problem with moderate peace loving Muslims. If they, that is any non-USA ie immigrant or citizen express a desire to do violence against the USA, or we find through criminal back ground checks they are terrorists or associate willingly with terrorists wanting to over throw our government they should be arrested or sent back with the knowledge a return will be a sure way to spend a long time in jail, OR WORSE.

One, perhaps little thing, thing that we won that I didn't realize until it was pointed out to me a couple days ago is the idea that Pub victory did make Dems leaderless. So sure Dems were they they'd win and decimate Pubs to oblivion. Now that has flipped. Many thought they'd not have to worry about finding leadership in the party for at least 3 years (maybe 6), but now they are scrambling. Deciding if they wanna go far left with likes of EW and/or Sanders, which certainly capture attitudes of anti-Trump protesters, but could cost them more elections unless that movement can penetrate working class Americans, especially in rural America. And if they go middle-left, then I'm thinking Progressive types are going to want to have a split in the party akin to what Pubs had with Tea Partiers.

It really is amazing to me how much that script flipped. Pubs seem very strong right now, and Dems come across right now very weak.

Like the idea of whether Trump ought to weigh in and address the people protesting/rioting in the street. I see why anyone might suggest that, but also see how that just makes Obama, current POTUS look entirely lame. As in you no longer can speak to these people, but Trump can? How is that not a huge disregard for the current POTUS. I think both Trump and Obama ought to be speaking, but at least look like Trump is following Obama's lead, respecting the idea that Obama is still leader.
