Well named Champions

I was debating on whether to post these guys or not. These are some modern day Champions that are well named.

About Bjornsson, some people may ask. Bjorn is a mythological hero that never found death in battle always being a successful warrior, he fought to be received into Valhalla.

There are others, I haven't had the privilege of learning them all. These 3 are from Iceland, the North Pole and one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

Are they making strife? No, they all went in to the games and are absolutely phenomenal athletes as well as representing the Viking Gods.

So there you have it and this has been going on a long time, certainly several decades at least with Champions representing the Gods. Who stopped the press? Nobody.

I guess, we, or atleast I do, have to try and take a sensible approach.

Cheers.

Edit:

Nationalism is a big deal too.

Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson played The Mountain, a hired killer in an episode of Game of Thrones last season. He's hyoooge! Look how he dwarfs Leana Headey.

World's Strongest Man competitor Magnus Ver Magnusson is Icelandic. He is 6' 3" and 287 lbs. Magnus Samuelsson from Sweden, WSM competitor, is 6' 7", 344 lbs. He used the phrase "Viking Power!" at the competitions. They sure grow 'em big and strong up there in the North. But during the Viking Age the average heigh of a Norse male was ~5' 6".

Thanks for the feedback. It's always thrilling to see such phenominal athletes represent the Old Gods.

Aye, there have been many.

It's Righteous.

I would like to see more soldiers representing them but soldiers usually aren't about press.

It excites me.

Not only Bjornsson but several others have Gigantism in the Strong Man games. That's why they are somewhat rare, usually those with Gigantism suffer horrible deformities that kill them.

Bjornsson is well bread among many others in the Strong Man games.
