Well, well, well...FBI raid Jeffrey Clark's home, take his electronics.

When comparing the FBI with the Proud Boys and other Fascists doing Trump's bidding, it's not hard to see who looks like - and aspires to be like - the Gestapo.
And it's not hard when you look into the ideas that sustain those like the Proud Boys and other Fascists. It all really boils down to White Replacement Theory. (One has to stop and wonder whether native North Americans, in both the US and Canada, didn't have an "Indigenous Replacement Theory." If they did, they would have been much more than justified, as history sadly demonstrates.)

It's a funny (or not) thing that the last CPAC chose to convene in Budapest, Hungary, where Viktor Orban is President. As he said himself, "I see the great European population exchange as a suicidal attempt to replace the lack of European, Christian children with adults from other civilizations -- migrants."

WRT is being "normalized" in the west these days, as more and more oppressed and endangered people seek refuge. Some of us see trying to save your life and the lives of your family as a pretty sane thing to do, really, but a lot of people these days seem to see that as nothing but a threat to their own self-worth, self-importance and safety.

There have been times, by the way, when we have seen the same thing as an important way to grow -- as both the United States and Canada have done.

Pretty much. Jack booted stormtroopers used for political vendettas and revenge politics.

It would be nice to see some charges levied for misappropriation of a federal agency.
D.C. is too corrupt. People may not agree with everything Trump said and I certainly don't; but he had a point about draining the swamp.

And yet, he added several feet to that very swamp. You don't and can't understand that because you can't accept that Donald Trump is as corrupt as it is possible to be. He learned his lessons at Roy Cohn's feet -- yeah, Roy Cohn who helped get the McCarthy debacle going, and who died of AIDS because...well, because he wasn't always 100% hetero. That's swamp stuff, you know, and it's what Trump knows. I know turtles that like swamps less than Trump does.

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
And, as always (let me repeat that --- ALWAYS) no evidence, no backup, no nothing except a bald-faced accusation unsupportable by anything you have.

Belief without reason is -- well, not to put too fine a colour on it -- unreasonable.

But that's religion for you.

Always? Lol!

You as well as others blow off everything people give to you as right wing propaganda anyways. Always!

Everyone else knows what's up with it all so it's really meaningless since the farce called a raid will turn up nothing like usual.

Always!

I don’t know if coincidence or not, but Mr. Clark was a central topic at today’s hearing.
That was a fact that made the warrant crucial before the testimony today and evidence was destroyed.

Lets note this was a warrant that had sufficient evidence to get a judge to sign it. Clark joined the club of Guiliani and Roger Stone having FBI raids to collect evidence against them for involvement with Trump. More evidence is being collected that points to Trump driving a conspiracy to overturn the 2020 election. This points to awareness that Trump knew he didn't win. Testimony today shows that Trump kept coming up with conspiracy theories from the internet and demanded the DOJ investigate them. The DOJ found no credible claims that Trump kept bringing up. Trump worked very hard to not accept the election results.

Very unlikely as White Genocide is absolutely preposterous and makes a very wild game of connect the dots of real life. The Natives were actually being enslaved, slaughtered, raped amd culturally repressed. They may have had conspiracies making this tribe or that tribe complacent, but the elements to give rise to such a dumb racist idea just weren't there.
It wasn't saying "fear the darkies" to people who rarely saw black people, it was people saying "beware the white man" because they had some very bad and deadly encounters with them.

Denial from propaganda. This is how it works. Repeat false claims. Offer no evidence or argument backs on evidence. Keep repeating the false claims.

It doesn't work on rational minds.

We only do it because you make claims without evidence -- as in your response just now.

Try to parse this -- it may be hard for you:

"Everyone else knows what's up with it all so it's really meaningless since the farce called a raid will turn up nothing like usual."
  • So, who is the "everyone" you refer to?
  • What is it that they know "what's up with it all?"
  • Why is an actual raid by the FBI "a farce called a raid?"
  • How do you know what it will or will not turn up?
See? You make claims you couldn't support with an Emergency Room full of crutches.

We rational thinkers don't care about your feelings and poorly informed, biased opinions. You only seem interested in disrupting these discussions, which you don't. But at least we know this whole thing about exposing Trump/Republican corruption is getting to you. And it's mostly Republicans testifying. It's amazing. There are ethical Republicans, and the far right doesn't respect them.

I have a question that might be fun for you to try to answer:

How do your mostly baseless responses that adulate right-wing theocracy comport with your stated religion of "philosophical Buddhism?"

I mean, at the very least, you have to suppose that the word "philosophical" must imply "love of knowledge," for which you show no evidence whatever.

@F1fan, that's such an important observation! The far right doesn't even respect those who for so long were the compatriots, but decided, when it came to truth, honour and their respect for the Constitution versus getting what they want, went with truth, honour and respect for the Constitution.

And so many others seem to have tossed those values away as irrelevant, maybe even treasonous.

Yes, here in Missouri there is a new ad by our former governor who resigned in disgrace, and is now running for Senate.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/06/23/greitens-hunting-ad-gop-opposition-senate/

Greiten's ad is of him hunting RINOs, which is presumably those ethical Republicans who would not conspire with Trump and are now testifying to the conspiracy to overturn the election. This illustrates how far Republicans are going to divide themselves, not just Democrats.

Liberals have no place even bringing up McCarthy when they spent 4 years talking about Russian Collusion.

Do you know why it took 4 years. There was a crime that Trump that Trump was guilty of according to the Mueller report.
It mentioned 10 crimes of obstruction as I recall.

Obstruction of Justice in the Mueller Report: A Heat Map

The interesting thing about Clark being investigated is that there is evidence that he committed a crime. One of the crimes is likely to be conspiracy, and as we know a conspiracy involves more than one person. At least one of the other people is trump since he was the person all these crimes aim to benefit. Clark plead the 5th over 100 times and that suggests some consciousness of guilt of committing a crime. That he also asked for a pardon suggests he was aware that his acts may have been criminal. People acting comfortably within the law do not fear being indicted for crimes. The question now is what Clark did, and will he be motivated to testify against Trump.
