I think nowadays people can pretty much get away with wearing whatever we want. I'm sure there are many out there that still think Jncos are fashionable. I personally wear basketball shorts and a t-shirt pretty much everywhere I go.Its really pretty stupid, but clothing styles changing.
I was in middle school when Jncos started going out of style. They started being replaced with flare legged jeans(for girls).
I really liked Jncos.
I really did not like those flares. They reminded me of Clydesdale horses. I did not want to look like a horse.
I bought a pair or two. They were not comfortable, either. I wore them awhile, because I felt I had to. Its what normal girls do.
And then one day it just occurred to me. "I don't have to wear this". And I didn't. And I was happy.
And then I started thinking about all the other things I didn't have to do. The things I didn't need permission to do.
Such a simple thought changed my whole life.
I hope you're looking both ways before crossing the street. When I found out that all of existence ends when I die.
Yeah, I wear some pretty fantastic things sometimes. People definitely care less now than they did back then.I think nowadays people can pretty much get away with wearing whatever we want. Don’t worry, my mom taught me that when I was a little boy.I hope you're looking both ways before crossing the street.
There are some things still socially unacceptable. I was once told "Get out of my yard" when I was on a public sidewalk standing for under 5 minutes watching a squirrel on a tree. But I see your point, people will be people, can't let it get to you. There's no law saying you can't wear Jncos.Yeah, I wear some pretty fantastic things sometimes. It just opened my eyes, though. At that point, all restrictions, not just regarding clothing, but everything, was off. I could be more genuine with my taste, goals, opinions.
I could eat ice cream for breakfast, and stay up all night. I could buy an inexpensive car so I had more money for cat food. I could have a roommate.
Also be very careful around wet floor signsDon’t worry, my mom taught me that when I was a little boy.
Does that make you anxious?Well.....there was that time I was raised by highly intelligent, STEM researcher PhD parents. So I now see the world via careful consideration of the facts; ruling out nonsensical hogwash; and considering the long-term (i.e. decades and centuries) consequences of my (and everyone's) current actions.
I would have barked at the guy. There are some things still socially unacceptable. They never went out to those with sensible tastes and never gave up on super baggy.I'm sure there are many out there that still think Jncos are fashionable.
Does that make you anxious?
Thinking about the future often makes me anxious, that's the only reason why I asked.No. Why might you think it would?
