That's disconcerting.

Yeah, no.

My Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band albums (the first one I bought when I was 13 and second I bought years later) will remain in my Beatles album collection, where they belong. My Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band cassette tape or my super deluxe edition box set CDs are also off limits.
I don't have a record or cassette player.
I'll accept a link to a youtube video.

It is, at times, but the screen jerking all over a thread before finally settling on a post is most disconcerting.
My conspiracy is they design it so you click on an ad by mistake to make them money. ;0]

Probably these are Windows or Mac problems. Works nicely with my five linux Debian distros* on my computer. I get no ads, momentary delays, nothing to worry about, which I attribute to slow connection here .. but, 'sign in' page now needs scrolling whereas earlier it was all in one page.
* Debian, Mx, Antix, Bunsenlab Beryllium, Crunchbang. These days, I am in love with Debian.

The problems that I am discerning, both the glitchy jerkiness of the screen and the response lag, seem to definitely be due to the ads. I have now seen how the make the screen jerk upward or downwards with their appearance, and since the initiation of the response lag was concurrent with that, I can only assume that they have the same cause. When I first click on to a thread and begin to read a post, I have to make numerous adjustments to return the post I to my field of view (on my iPhone screen) in compensation for the screen jerking up and down; as I do so, sure enough…there are the ads which have just “spawned in”. This jerkiness subsides after ten or fifteen seconds, but is most annoying as it occurs. Has a relationship with a new advertising company been recently made?

I have also noticed that the software has begun to have trouble with locating a prior post when one actuated the “member X said” link in a quotation.

Yes, at least on my iPhone, the Alert linking function has stopped working, and on top of all else, large screen-sized ads have begun to pop up.

And you're posting double. ;)

The pop ups are now circumventing my blocker firewall as well.

Not for long, as I'm upgrading.

I think its intentional so people will click the ads.

I get ads, though that is by choice. I could activate my adblock. I am actually tempted to do so because as of late I have had ads for Donald Trump coins. What did I do to deserve that?

It looks to me like the CSS it being worked on. On my phone the site is in full size pc mode making it very difficult to use on the phone.

It's in the correct size on my phone. Do you have the "Desktop site" option enabled in your browser settings on the phone?
