What’s after death?

Opinion of course

Of course. She is sharing her personal opinion, just like everyone else in this thread, because none of us truly knows what will happen to us after we die. We can speculate all we want or base our beliefs on holy texts, but we won't know for sure until we die and cross over. Some religious people insist that they know based on their preferred religious beliefs, sacred religious texts, and church doctrines, but in my opinion, they're speculating just like the rest of us.

Even people of the same religion can't agree on what happens to people after death, but they all think they're right and everyone else is dead wrong. In my experience, most religious people rarely ever say something like "this is what I believe or think" or "this is just my opinion," but rather insist on their beliefs regarding the afterlife as if they were absolute truth. I see this happen primarily with Abrahamic theists. However, I think the fact remains that the spirit world could be entirely different from what they believed. I believe the same is true for those who don't believe in an afterlife. I'm a spiritualist, and I speculate about what the afterlife will be like, but I can't say that I know for certain. My speculation regarding the afterlife is that a person's experience in the spirit world is primarily determined by them, which means that their character and the decisions they've made in their life can affect what happens to them after they die. Of course, I could be right or wrong. I don't have a problem with admitting that I don't know. And finally, I think that it's important to remember that everyone in this thread is simply sharing what we believe about what happens after death, whether it's based on our spiritual beliefs or not.

I'll stick with the 1st law of thermodynamics which hasn't been falsified yet. So at least i have evidence.

You have evidence of what happens to a body after it dies, but not evidence of what happens to the soul of the person. I know that you don't believe that we have a soul, so you don't believe in an afterlife. I respect that, despite disagreeing with you. One thing is certain, in my opinion, and it's that you won't change my mind, and I won't change yours. So I'm not going to argue about this with you because I don't see the point, and I'm not interested in trying to convince you to believe as I do. I don't argue or debate about my beliefs. Therefore, I'll agree to disagree with you on whether there is an afterlife or not.

Same soul. The personality changes and each physical body is different.

I also believe in the possibility of reincarnation. As a spiritualist, I believe there are earthbound human spirits who do not cross over into the spirit world for different reasons. I believe that these spirits have the choice of crossing over into the spirit world or remaining in the physical world. But I also believe that some of these spirits may have unfinished business that prevents them from crossing over until they resolve their problems with the assistance of a psychic medium who can also assist them in crossing over. It is for these reasons that I believe that reincarnation could be possible. In my opinion, if these spirits can choose to remain earthbound, as I believe they can, then it makes sense to me that they can also choose to be born into a new physical life and live again. As I said in another thread (linked below), reincarnation intrigues me, and the evidence I've seen and read is, in my opinion, very compelling.

As are you.
My belief is usually accompanied by compelling evidence
What @Sgt. Pepper believes is also based upon compelling evidence.
She sees earthbound spirits and seeing is believing.

I have never seen an earthbound spirit but I have experienced spirit activity in my house.
I did not need that to believe that there are spirits, but it was further confirmation.
