Question 1: What advice would you like to give to your younger self?

Question 2: What advice do you wish you had learned when you were younger?
Learn to fold and iron clothes so that my future wife cannot bring it up in every fight.

Question 1: What advice would you like to give to your younger self?
I was an idealist as a young person. Wasting way too much time and energy mulling issues of morality and meaning when I should have been thinking and acting far more practically, and enjoying my youth more while I had it.

Also, I became an alcoholic, so if there were some way I could have persuades myself not to go down that road, it would have saved me a world of hurt and dysfunction.
Question 2: What advice do you wish you had learned when you were younger?
That's the problem. I was very hard-headed and determined not to accept anyone else's "advice".

Question 1: What advice would you like to give to your younger self?

For when I was in high school:

Take education seriously, not yourself. Additionally, for the love of all that is grim, aspire to be more than what other people in your life have conditioned you to want to be.

Question 2: What advice do you wish you had learned when you were younger?

Not to put any girl on a pedestal.

This too shall pass. So live in the moment a little more.

Question 2: What advice do you wish you had learned when you were younger?

I needed a mentor, someone who could be straight with me about my potential, and was willing to put themselves out a little to help...heck, even push...me into achieving a little more a little sooner.
By the time I was mature enough to do it myself, and worldly enough to know that it was required, I missed some opportunities. Still, I've been pretty lucky overall, so not much I'd change from about 19 onwards.

1. Be gay. It'll save money

2. Being gay saves money.

What? A bunch of churches say it's a choice! And gay people are very frugal. Meet someone the same size as you and you get double wardrobe for free!
