What are: 'the voices in your head'?

1) You can't prove that the soul is immortal.

2) I don't care if it is, it is still ending someones memories and forcing your will onto their life.

3) If your deities best solution is just to murder everyone but a few people when he doesn't like what going on then he's either not omnibenevolant, omnipotent, either, or real.

But a good God, would not end life with anything other than a better existence.
Death is the illusion that horrifies you.
Hypothetically, you have to see, that if death is not the end, then there really is no absolute evil.

If I roundhouse someone in the face they likely won't die but that doesn't make it moral.

But why did you (hypothetically) do this?

Okay I'm done with you.

If you think there is any situation where that is justified than I am afraid I cannot convince you otherwise. It's just beyond my abilities. I would need to become much more adept in psychology. You obviously do not have the same capacity for empathy as most people.

What are: 'the voices in your head'?

Any speculation is welcome here,
but I have to ask you to back-up up your answer
with at least two reasons.

What are: 'the voices in your head'?

No voices in my head, but plenty of thoughts come and go. Its knowing which thoughts to allow in and which to ignore.

So then, who is it that listens to the thoughts ?
And who/what is it that is aware of the thoughts and presence ?

Ignoring thoughts is not the same as dissipating them with reason & meditation.
One of the reasons that people 'go mental' is that they ignore bad thoughts,
instead of seeking their origin; either within or without.
