Center-right/libertarian conservative? Really the closest label would be "New Atheist"; you sound pretty politically akin to Hitchens and co.
It's funny that you mention that, since the public intellectual I find myself agreeing with the most is Sam Harris. Definitely not on all issues, though. Sometimes he says insane things when he's off.
