The world is different everytime you start a new game. You start with nothing and have to collect resources and build your home, your tools, etc. You can even have a farm. It is a lot of fun for people who like simulation type games. It is really just a simulation of surviving in the natural world with no aid.
That game does sound like fun.

WOOT WOOT!!!
I just fixed my XBox 360's red ring of death! And my room now smells lemony fresh from the stuff I used to clean off the so burnt and dead thermal past that it turned to a rubbery type stuff that I thought was a melted thermal pad. Now for the epic moment of seeing how rich my Fable 2 character is!

I never had that happen to mine before.

The disc drive is dead. And it's a bit of a pain to replace them in the 360. But, other than that, everything's good. I even forgot I had the End of Days and Queen of the Damned soundtracks on my 360, and haven't listened to the End of Days one if a long time.

Wow that really sucks. So are you planning on getting a new xbox 360?

It happened to mine maybe 4 or 5 years ago, and I just fixed it tonight. Generally, what causes it is crappy hardware design from Microsoft, especially the X-clamps that don't clamp the heat sinks down to the CPU and GPU well enough. I'm actually worried it may happen again because there is some wiggle room, which is something that is not supposed to happen. Looks like I'm gonna have to buy some special bolts in order to hold them down better to get rid of the wiggle room, as well as the extra heat sinks that you can get for the exposed chips on the mother board.

Nope. I'm gonna get the flashing devices so I can put in a new disc drive. It's my business to buy broken consoles, repair them and improve the hard ware, mod the ones I can, and resell them. I'd be in good shape if people had the money to spend on getting the consoles they have fixed or just to buy the consoles that I'm fixing and modding.

I was going to sell this Xbox 360, but I had no idea how much heat was going to generated by the heat gun to fix the RRoD, and I had the mother board on the bottom half of the chassis, and now it's warped as well as having imprints from the stuff on the mother board that melted the plastic of the chassis.

I wish I know how to repair stuff like that.

So it turns out the disc drive isn't dead, but for some reason it's just not reading game discs.

For the most part, it's not hard. Honestly, the hardest part in fixing the red ring of death is getting the 360 case/chassis open without breaking it. But once the console is open, it's taking out a few screws, unhooking a few cords, taking out the bad, putting in the new, and reversing the steps.
As for my 360, at least I have all the games to play that I downloaded off the Marketplace, which is great because I've been going through Perfect Dark withdrawels since I don't have a N64 anymore.

Ah I see. Interesting.

This sucks. I've currently downloading the third update for the 360. At least it's playing the music while it downloads it. Except the End of Days soundtrack doesn't seem to have any good songs after Eminem's song Bad Influence.

Because the 360 chassis is such a royal pain to open and so complicated, this odd looking thing is the tool to make opening it up a million times easier:

@Shadow Wolf, since you like modding stuff, have you ever heard of or checked out the Raspberry Pi? People like to make all sorts of things out of those, such as retro consoles.
Yup. I make those retro consoles, put Kodi on them, and sell them. Unfortunately, it's something that a lot of people had so "that's so cool! I want one!" but nobody has bought one yet.
