These were my meals yesterday. I'm branching out and trying to cook some things I've not cooked before, like steak.
1) Whole grain kamut pasta, cooked al dente, with marinara sauce, with fresh-crushed garlic and extra olive oil and herbs mixed in. A salad with olive oil and white wine vinegar.
2) Pan-seared grass-fed top sirloin, medium-rare, with steamed green beans and a glass of cabernet sauvignon. I used a bit of avocado oil for searing the steak and then put some butter on it as it finished, with salt and pepper also, and butter and black pepper on the green beans.
3) Vegetable tofu stir fry. It consists of sprouted tofu cooked to a golden color in coconut oil, then with broccoli, scallions, and red peppers added with soy sauce and fresh-crushed garlic. The mix is then served over brown rice.
Dark chocolate and spearmint tea for dessert.
