I, too, am reading two books. The Law by Frederic Bastiat, a book I have had in my possession for quite some time and happened, the other day, to notice it set aside from my other books (most likely my boys rearranging things per usual) and it made me wonder what it is he might have to say on the topic of the law. The other is The Rapture of Canaan by Sheri Reynolds. My sister gave it to me the other night saying that it will be very relatable to what it is we went through growing up in a Christian home. Granted, what I have read thus far is a bit extreme ... but the fear and such put into us by the adults in our lives is very much something I can relate to. I should note though that my parents were much more open minded by the time I came along than they were with my sisters and thus, I was able to broaden my horizons more so than the characters w/in this story. Still ... it is an interesting read. Certainly the language of the writer is quite poetic and so, it appeals to me on many levels. :)

Finished People's History by Howard Zinn.

Started: Consumed - How Markets Corrupt Children, Infantilize Adults, and Swallow Citizens Whole by Benjamin R. Barber.

Wonder Woman
A while back I picked up "Deep Storm" by Lincoln Child but only read a couple chapters and got distracted by something else ( I don't quite remember what). About 4 days ago I picked it back up, restarted it, and finished it 2 days ago. It's extremely good.

I now have "Life Expectancy" by Dean Koontz sitting on my nightstand. I'm a few chapters into it now.

Eventually I might read the other book on my nightstand that's just holding the stand down at the moment :p "The Sword of Shannara Trilogy"

Good book, I really enjoy Terry Prachett's work.
This is my first Pratchett book actually. I've been meaning to read his material for a while but never got around to it until now. I was kind of hesitant as I didn't know where to start but am enjoying it so far.

I haven't read them in any order I just pick up one that looks good or I haven't read yet and I enjoy them a lot!

They kind of remind me of Douglas Adams and the Hitch Hikers Guide to The Galaxy series, at least I find the humor similar.
