This is true. Still remembering playing mario for the first time... think I was somewhere between 3-5. Lucky enough to have a mate who had... whatever the first nintendo system sold in NZ was.

How old does a game have to be before it's "old"?

IMO, about 15 years is the mark.

You've got the granddaddy games (Atari, Colecovision, etc.), the classic games (8-bit and 16-bit eras), early 3D (PSX, N64, Saturn, etc.), and modern (last and current gen.)

When I was a kid, my first dealings with video games started here...

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

I feel so sorry for you to have had to play that... that.... just, THAT!:kissbette
That was actually considered Pac Man, although the real arcade version did exist at the same time. It's just that that was the best that affordable technology could bring to our livingroom. Now you know, when you watch old re-runs of Silver Spoons, why it was soo cool that they had arcade games in the house. :D

Dude, 2600 Pac-Man was one of the leading causes of the Video Game Crash of '83. It was TERRIBLE and I wasn't even there.

According to my sources, it was actually pretty universally derided.
