What did you buy recently?

Books. It's an addiction, frankly, and I have to stop doing it; my reading list will take me years to get through as it is. I certainly did not need a 65th anniversary hardback edition of Jack Kerouac's On The Road, which I first read 45 years ago. On the other hand, turns out 'ti-Jean was a far better writer than he is generally given credit for (Ginsberg knew), and I wouldn't have known that if I hadn't recently bought the book.

It's been 3 years since i've been to Mc Donalds. :( I really miss their paneer burger.

What did you order?

... paneer burger?? Can you send one to me?

A cat collar for one of the strays. The village has a policy of rounding up stray cats and sending them to be domesticated and homed. This stray sort of lives with us. Now all we have to do is get the collar on him ;-)

We got a new one showing up in the afternoons and evenings... he eats the cat food off the porch and serenades one of our indoor/outdoor cats... Too friendly to be feral. Tried checking the local lost pet registry, but no one's missing him, apparently. Too bad; sweet little thing.

You too? I buy way too many myself...

The last thing I bought was groceries. Buttermilk, bread, soy fish, apples, bananas, oranges, sparkling water, peanut butter, cheese, carrots, and milk.

This right here may not be as delicious as the real thing but it'll have to do for now (for us both). :yum:

That is sad, very sad indeed. I really cannot think of any situation where beige trousers (beige anything really) would look good.

Were they on sale cheap?
Horrifyingly, no, I got them cos they go with a jacket I've already got. Oh jeez...

(actually I do rather like the jacket - Joe Browns don't you know :) )

There is RAL 1011 and RAL 8024

Yes you can look them up

There are probably RAL colours in between too.

You see this is why girls come in useful ( ;) ) cos for boys there's only 3 colours. Actually, I've just looked at it and I don't think it's beige at all, but the trousers do go with it (well they do in my head). I'd post a picture of it but you and @JustGeorge would just take the **** some more.
