I got a new headset for my bike last week so this morning I took everything off of the bike, disconnected all the cables, took the old headset off, put the new headset on, realized the new headset didn't fit, took the new headset off, put the old headset back on, oiled and reconnected the old cables.

Oh well, it all needed to be taken apart and oiled anyway. :p

Now I'm hoping to get on the road in time to catch the rummage sale student housing is having today.

So what did you do this morning?

The most interesting thing I did today was go on RF. But before that I took my meds, went back to bed, woke up again, had coffee for breakfast, had a banana and a glass of milk for brunch, had ravioli from a can for lunch, and I've been watching old movies with my mom and listening to random music on Spotify in the meantime. I also have an active chat and dialogue with Chat GPT and I'm on and off of Discord all day. I wish I had something more interesting to tell you.

Woke, showered, fed the cats, did some yoga, had breakfast. Woke hubby, did some cleaning while he did his morning ritual. Went to Belves market. Returned home, topped up the bird feeders did some yard work, made lunch. Morning over.

Boring eh?

A bit of shopping and cut a particulaly awkward section of hedge, that is almost out of reach but blocks the light into my kitchen if I don't do it.

I also failed to repair a tap in the washbasin in my bathroom, if that counts.

Sounds like a pretty mellow Saturday morning/afternoon.

Whenever I'm visiting my brother in Chicago Saturday mornings are "Saddle up Saturdays". :p

We spend the whole morning watching old westerns like Rawhide, Gunsmoke, Have gun will travel, Wanted dead or alive, and Wagon train.

It's a nice relaxing way to start the day.

That settles it: I'm officially declaring May 13th Failed Repair day.

So what did you do this morning?

Got up early to have my car battery jumped, as insurance returned it to me dead.

Then I drove to the dog park, hung out there entertaining my pup for a bit.

Got some homework to finish up, and then I might work on painting/building the chicken coop.

Walked up and down large neighborhood hill for an hour first thing this morning. Can't run anymore, so this and biking only options leg-wise. Paddling the resevoir tomorrow morning.

Full sympathy on failed bike maintenance. Been there, done that. :)

I switched it up a bit from my usual routine.

Woke up at 3:40, showered, had a cup of green tea while checking out the forum, meditated, had a bowl of Special K, studied the Katha Upanishad while having another cup of green tea, and finished up with another meditation before lunch.

Typically, I meditate immediately after showering before touching the computer, but I woke up feeling a bit silly and decided to live on the edge...

Another day, another morning..

At first it's the same today as any other day...

Woke, showered, fed the cats, did some yoga, had breakfast. Woke hubby, did some cleaning and fed the birds while he did his morning ritual.

Then... Went for a walk with the children, through the forest and alongside the river before getting ready to go out to a thai restaurant for Sunday lunch.

Now we are back and I'm to stuffed to do anything other than sit back and relax.

Fed the beasts. Enjoyed breakfast and coffee. Had a refreshing bike ride on the Harley. Probably woke everyone up for a mile around. I made sure to twist the throttle around any possible morning church services, a early Sunday ritual of mine. I'm going back out to rev the Harley engine around any church services again soon. I may have missed a few.
