What do you get for believing in an historical Jesus?

You asked a question, and provided possible answers. You did not limit the answers to just your limited personal interpretation.

To study history is to search for the truth, that is what scholars do. They are is search of the truth.

You report all you want, you could be in violation yourself as your trolling comment could be viewed negatively.

Oh man, I learned something today, put your faith in scholars because they search for the truth and they find it. Outhouse knows this and has found the truth. Billions have searched for the truth by putting their faith in Jesus, but it's scholars that have held the truth all along. Good to know.

I have not once proposed my version of the truth in this thread.

Do historians search for what really happened in the past?

You just claimed the truth in this very thread and if you have the truth then fine, have at it, besides, I'm fine with you finding the truth, it's not a problem.

Not everyone who believes they are searching for "truth" truly are; many are actually searching for those pieces of evidence that may, in one way or another, out of context or within the same, validate that which they already believe. This includes scholars and laymen alike.

That is true.

There are apologetic scholars who carry little credibility that do just that.

I would not be a Muslim if I do not believe in Jesus Christ as a messenger of God. One of the pillars of faith in Islamic religion is believing in all the prophets of God
