What do you hate about Christ (Christianity)?

I agree with you whole heartily ,The founders of Christianity were very dark people, who did a lot of wicked things,There has been two posts about the Dark History of Christianity and The Church!! and I feel that spirit is still circulating today. They may have changed a few things but they are the same, when it comes to Dogma and wanting control over the people,I feel that is a shame that everything you could do to communicate with God and the divine are considered a sin!!Why are they so scared of us communicating with the spiritual Realm and being enlightened? and the fact that they feel Christianity and the Bible are totally right!! and everyone else is in the dark, sinners and going to hell just because we believe something else. I use to want to educate Christians of a different and beautiful way to live happier and more spiritual, but I gave up,cause they are so closed minded, and to me brain washed!! once again remember this is just my opinion.I know say;if that is what floats your boat, then sail on!!!
Beautiful post! :)

I'm a Shinto Christian. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior, but I do not believe the Bible is without error.

I believe all spirits become Kami (Shinto divinities).

I believe the dead are more enlightened than the living because they do not have the flesh to drag them down and fight the spirit.

Shinto practitioners create shrines to the deceased family members and heroes. A dead family member becomes a family Kami, a spirit that assists the family.

yasukuni shrine has a book of souls where millions of names and birthdays and photographs of soldiers who died for the emperors are enshrined.

I keep shrines to Ted Bundy victims and all kinds of victims of atrocities and even suicide victims. I pray for their souls, attend holy Mass and pray for them, receive holy Communion for them and offer them the Treasures of the holy Eucharist.

Am I still a Christian?

I guess I am more merciful than God! < I'm sure sincerely not
no one has the right to say that someone else is not holy!!!

I would actually say that you are much more enlightened than Christians are, I myself don't want to be classified with them at all. I consider you and me, spiritual and enlightened!! We listen to God directly not by "The words in the bible",that was written by man and can not be proven as right, true or real.

What do you dislike about Jesus?

I ask mods to be lenient to those who vent their grievances, for I'm trying to understand hatred for Christianity and it's founder. My goal is not to stir up insults towards a Religion, but rather my goal is to understand better why people despise the religion and it's founder, and some of that can be learned even by letting them vent their hatred. I have gone through times where I hated Christianity and hated Jesus, even hated hearing the name. I'm just trying to understand why. (It's kind of difficult to hate someone who loves his enemies and forgives those who crucified him.)

If you hate Christ or hate Christianity, please be honest and transparent, but in a way that will educate me and perhaps others who share this interest, not in a way that violated the rules.

I don't want any hatred in my heart. However, there is something I still hate about Christianity. This idea that those who die without accepting Jesus as Lord and savior go to hell to be miserable for ever is just ridiculous, but so prevalent. Does he really love them? If he's going to send them to hell for simply not believing a doctrine about an unseen entity, how could that in any way be reconciled with love. He told us to love our enemies. If he doesn't follow his own advice, doesn't that make him a hypocrite? So, the hell Dogma is actually very unchristian in my opinion. To hell with it! :p

This common belief that a person cannot be enlightened, informed, rehabilitated, and convert after death bothers me as well.

You said a mouth full!! and so absolutely true. I won't say I hate Christians I try not to say I hate anyone, but I have a very strong dislike for them and their Bible because They consider themselves so righteous and the right ones!! and the ones who don't agree with their teachings are lost and can't make it into heavens door. I personally don't like them because I am a witch and my practice is witchcraft so according to them I am hell bound no stop,go straight to hell. and in the past they Killed my kind, said everything we do is of Satan.not realizing that we don't even believe in their entity "Satan"!!! There are a lot of Christian witches in this world, most believe in God but embrace our practices because "Christians" aren't as spiritual as they pretend or as knowledgeable as they think, they really don't have a clue, where as Witches and New age believers are very connected to the Divine Spiritual world. But hey, everyone is entitled to worship and believe anything they want to,they just need to stop being so arrogant and believing they are the only ones that are going to heaven and they are the ones that know everything dealing with religion and God, and that the bible is God's Instructions to the world and if you don't believe in those scriptures and no way following that book called the bible you are blasphemers. Actually, it's kind of sad, I feel they are gonna have a rude awaking after their physical bodies die!!!

I dislike the notion of a deceased infant whose soul gets a free pass straight to Heaven, or at least an escape from either the sufferings of this world or from an eternal Hell; all the meanwhile, my soul must suffer though the trials and tribulations of this world for testing my faith being worthy of Heaven as well as me being saved from eternal Hell.; I think this would be so unfair for those of us living beyond the age of accountability.

Makes a great case for promoting and encouraging abortion.

Awwww that is so sad, trust me,non-Christians are very much holy and much more merciful than the God you portray in the bible!! Why,I say that? Because we don't order to kill or throw people in the fiery pits of hell or pluck out eyes and etc. because they believe in something different and not following what Christians say people should do and think, or doing something the bible says not to do!! That is having" Mercy!!" <We surely sincerely are more merciful than God!!!

You misquoted me, which is against forum rules....but if that is how you want to play the game...then fine...we don't consider the bickering factions of Christendom to be Christians either. (1 Corinthians 1:10)

The Pharisees of Jesus' day apparently didn't think he was a good Jew either because he did not uphold what they taught. It is as Jesus said in John 15:18-21...
"If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you. 19 If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, for this reason the world hates you. 20 Keep in mind the word I said to you: A slave is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have observed my word, they will also observe yours. 21 But they will do all these things against you on account of my name, because they do not know the One who sent me."

We prove every day the truthfulness of those words.

There are a few....
Romans 2: 6-11.....
"And he will pay back to each one according to his works: 7 everlasting life to those who are seeking glory and honor and incorruptibleness by endurance in work that is good; 8 however, for those who are contentious and who disobey the truth but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and anger. 9 There will be tribulation and distress on every person who works what is harmful, on the Jew first and also on the Greek; 10 but glory and honor and peace for everyone who works what is good, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. 11 For there is no partiality with God.

12 For all those who sinned without law will also perish without law; but all those who sinned under law will be judged by law. 13 For the hearers of law are not the ones righteous before God, but the doers of law will be declared righteous. 14 For when people of the nations, who do not have law, do by nature the things of the law, these people, although not having law, are a law to themselves. 15 They are the very ones who demonstrate the matter of the law to be written in their hearts, while their conscience is bearing witness with them, and by their own thoughts they are being accused or even excused. 16 This will take place in the day when God through Christ Jesus judges the secret things of mankind, according to the good news I declare."

Many of those in their graves had no law so are not judged by it. They perished without ever knowing it or the one who gave it. But by the condition of their heart, God will either "accuse" them or even "excuse" them when the resurrection takes place. (John 5:28-29)

Yes, the judgment comes after their death and resurrection. Their sins have been covered by Christ's sacrifice because they have paid sin's wages, which is death. With a clean slate the "unrighteous" will be given an opportunity to bring their lives into harmony with God's requirements. It is what God wants after all.....(2 Peter 3:9) He doesn't want to destroy or to punish anyone....he would love it if all repented and came to him. He is a God of love, not some cruel dictator itching to throw conscious souls into an eternal fire. The fire is figurative...not literal as my brother has explained.

This is why I believe the Bible is a fictional book wrote by man,to control God's people cause if God really had anything to do with the bible you wouldn't have to decide if it's figurative or not, God would make it plain and simple to understand so there would be no need for different denominations teaching different things they would all be saying the same thing not disagreeing with each other or picking scriptures and wording it different to have it their way to serve their own purpose. Also I feel If he is all knowing he would have known all the confusion it would cause and that his people would be divided because of it,and I feel he would not have even given permission for such a Manuel to be written in the first place.

Romans 5:12 seems to imply that sin is 'inherited'....how can it not be passed on through the DNA? We all die. The thing that brought death into the world was sin.

Jesus had to have his life transferred from heaven to the womb of a sinful human woman in order to be born as a human. She was not wicked, but born in sin like every other human. (Psalm 51:5)
Adam was not created with any defects that would have caused his death. He was mortal but not subject to death from any natural cause. Disobedience brought death, not only to the first humans, but to the whole human race who were designed to live forever in the paradise home that God created for them.

Adam and his wife were created perfect...with no sin or propensity to sin. But they had free will, so the desire for the fruit came from the prompting of a third party.....one who had already defected from his God, made the fruit seem very tempting indeed. But a temptation is just that....rational, consequential thinking and loyalty to their generous God should have put the temptation out of contention, especially with a death penalty staring them in the face. But the serpent lied to the woman about the penalty and she believed him. Adam was not deceived however and he took the fruit for a completely different reason, but the outcome was the same. Sin opened up a whole new life for them....one that would have made them have deep regrets about their choices. Sin and death were passed on to all their offspring as a result of their choices. Jesus came to pay the debt because no one else could....no one else had perfect DNA to offer in exchange.

Exactly. Before they ate of the fruit, they were physically perfect....but after they ate, their DNA was somehow affected and the propensity to sin came to dominate human thinking and activities. As a knowledge of evil entered the world, so humans started to act out their evil thoughts and inclinations. Within one generation, a murderer was produced....such is the power of sin.

Can you prove all that is true?

Jesus of the bible I think is a very lovable character. Although highly unlikely that the things attributed to Jesus in the scriptures really happened, since it's stories passed down verbally for generations until written down.

Paul turned Jesus into Christ and invented the Christian religion.

actually,we have no proof of Paul turning Jesus into Christ and invented the Christian religion, as you said these are stories passed down.

I am a Christian, I love your post and I do not condemn you. I believe you to be motivated by good healthy spirits it would seem. I believe you to have a stronger connection to the supernatural world than most people, and the spirits that influence you are very compassionate.

I'm not saying I know you, but your words indicate you are a creature who has enlightenment , love of nature, and seeks unity with supernatural entities that are good Kami.

I would liken you to the good witch in The wizard of Oz, and would be honored to receive your blessing or spell, even though I am a follower of Christ.

Keep seeking enlightenment and unity with heavenly beings. Christ does not condemn you , and magic all comes from the same source as Grace, from the same creator.

I'm sorry and my heart hurts to see how Christians have treated people like you. :(

I'm sure there are other Christians like me who are fond of a good witch or wonderful wizard.

yes, rather than follow an ancient text written by men that contradicts itself, we follow the word of God as it is written in our hearts.

Oh wow, thank you so much for your kind words and acceptance I think you are more spiritually connected then you realize,I too pay attention to how people word things and you my dear, are a very very wise Creation of God,Honestly you would do well to follow Christ but not limit yourself by putting a label on your Spirituality and Knowledge by calling yourself Christian!! They have limits and orders and rules and dogma and judgmental views, I can tell that is not what you are all about. But if you feel you must say your a Christian that is your decision and prerogative, I was just expressing how I feel!! I like people by how sincere they are and if they operate out of love!! and you definitely do that!! and I will send you the white and gold light of the divine, that you continue to grow and grow in your spiritual path!! and to realize how absolutely blessed you really are already!! :innocent:

The Bible is an amazing book, not only because of how long it has survived but because of prophesy being fulfilled right now, and the hope it gives for the future, especially when things look grim.
Sure it has rules, but those who have hearts aligned to God's don't have a problem with them.

The problem as I see it is, because humans have distorted the meaning of what the Bible teaches, God reveals his truth only to those who are genuine seekers. He knows who they are. No one comes to a knowledge of God through his Christ without an invitation from the Father. (John 6:65)

Humans also have an innate selfishness that leads them to want only their own way....if their way conflicts with God's way, they will ditch his before they ever ditch their own. That in itself speaks volumes about who they worship....usually themselves.

Also I feel If he is all knowing he would have known all the confusion it would cause and that his people would be divided because of it,and I feel he would not have even given permission for such a Manuel to be written in the first place.

You have to make allowance for the fact that God is all knowing and can see into the future as easily as we see the events of today. He knows where to intervene and when not to in the case of those who are seeking the truth.
The condition of the heart....willingness to be taught, even things that you might not want to know or hear....the propensity to accede to God's will at the sacrifice of your own...all contribute to how God sees us and how that will affect our future. We tell God who we are without uttering a word.

If the god you want to exist is merely a reflection of yourself, then there is your god. There is no room for the true God in such a person.

Can you prove all that is true?

No one can "prove" that the Bible is true. If it was all provable, we would need no faith.....but faith, hope and love is what true Christianity is all about. How that faith, hope and love is expressed speaks volumes about where our heart is.

Then if you can't prove it don't quote scriptures to make your point!!! and if you could prove the bible is true you would still need faith that it works for the year 2019,and I guess there aren't to many true Christians in the world, because Love is far from the way Christians are to those of us who don't believe in your Bible or Christianity, also you always talk about the good stuff someone wrote in the bible!! what about the orders to kill certain people, stone some people, throw some in hell, drown everyone except one family, one who judges people and punishes people , send plagues on people to suffer and die ,what about the treatment of women and the list goes on and on!! so I guess since you totally accept this violence that is in the bible you must agree it was needed, whew!! If that's the Love Christians have, I don't want it!!!! nor need it, and if the version in the bible of Your true God is true.No thanks, I'll stick with not believing those words wrote by man in the bible and honoring the Creator I believe in the one who loves and accepts me just as I am and the one who doesn't want me following what others say but wants me to seek and believe in him for myself and that I know he could never be as the bible says he is!!!
