I'm not making any claims as to knowing what is in death, but I find it rather hard to assume that there is nothing, that we cease to be. I've talked to a few people who have had near death experiences, and perhaps their testimony alone would not be enough...if we didn't have dahli lama's retell past incarnations, if we didn't have prodigies born and display amazing gifts at an impossibly young age, if we didn't have ghosts and paranormal activity. If we didn't have remarkable figures such as Christ, Buddha, Krishna, Einstein, Nostradamus... If we didn't have miracles that defy the logical and probable...then perhaps I could believe in the luxury of apathy towards death.
